Tint of purple? That may be your TV tint (or mine) they always seemed to be various shades of blue to me.

Also you'd think she'd be a little more tan being from a tropical island.
It does a (relatively) good job of showing his growth too. He starts as a bratty teenager who wants to go home, then kind of happy-go-lucky teenarger as they begin the pilgrimage, then bratty teenager again once he realizes Yuna's fate, then brave defiance of the summoners as sacrifices, then finally stoic acceptance…
Outside of the shoulder pauldron I don't remember anything too overtly flashy on Cloud, just sort of vague army fatigues. The rest of the crew or at least Cid, Barrett (gun-arm notwithstanding), and Tifa (albeit revealing) were all dressed relatively normal as well.
Well, maybe during allergy season.
I think this is definitely true. If memory serves FFX was pretty close to a launch title for the system. I know I remember being blown away by the opening cinematic, pointing out to anyone who would listen how you could barely distinguish between the gameplay and pre-rendered video.
Some of the review and some of the comments here seem to point out that luck seems to be a bigger factor, or more so compared to Dark Souls and Shadow of the Colossus, did you find that to be the case? Both of those games certainly have elements of luck ("why did he use 'x' attack when I almost had him!") but is…
Definitely hoping it's a PS+ game soon. Although between this and Shovel Knight it's shaping up to be a strong Indie month for the Vita. I may just bite the bullet and get both if I end up impatient.
No fair! There need to be more awesome DC area events like this.
I wanted to get in there with the satisfying crunch/splat of Kuribo shoe on a goomba just to get his goat. I'd like to imagine it would be similar to the original Alfalfa from the Lil' Rascals stealing Moe's character's bit on the Simpsons.
I don't really enjoy them but footstep sounds always stand out to me for some reason. Going back to the original Metal Gear Solid where different floors had different sounds. For some reason they never seem to get them quite right, whether you're walking on gravel or through plants they always seem oddly too loud…
I know most puzzles can be solved just by the thief's grappling hook as well, but it'd be nice if there was either more balance between which characters were viable to solve puzzles or even if the game forced you to solve puzzles with the knight once in a while (and conversely fight enemies with the wizard or thief).
So should I just try and have a backup satellite in case there's a sudden panic somewhere? I only have the initial two up, but I'm building one of those bigger satellite stations after researching alien technology. I'm just hoping to keep a lid on things while that finishes.
I'm around there, I think I'm level 121. which should be within the 10 levels plus 10% window for co-op.
Yeah, I really don't feel like dealing with her again in NG+. At least not without being able to summon a couple of helpers. Those nigh-undodgeable lasers were a dealbreaker.
I'll be playing more of The Saga of Moving: 367/2: Muvodecidem in which we continue to prepare our house to sell, it's going on the market next Friday so last weekend to get everything spiffy and up to snuff, basically it's just a little more grinding before the boss.
Duels of the Planeswalkers the Magic games are pretty good simplified versions. The most recent iteration (they release yearly) allows a lot more flexibility in customizing your deck if that's your thing, the years before come with a variety of pre-made decks (with minimal customization) if you're just looking for…
I'm pretty pissed at the chalice dungeons right now. One of the trophies requires getting to the bottom of the Pthumeru dungeon, which has 6 layers of generally three bosses. I say "generally" because the lower Pthumeru dungeon has four. The third boss you fight there is Rom, the Vacuous, again. So I killed him,…
I loved the Trine games as well, I just wished they'd made the puzzling a little more balanced, you never get to use the knight enough except for killing people, 85% of the game for me was building stacks of blocks, climbing on top, and strategically tipping them over.
This one's easy for me Dragon Age Origins, I powered through most of the game, just up until before the final boss (according to the interwebs), back in late-2010 to early-2011 but it was a struggle the whole way, neither the the combat nor the story ever clicked for me. At that point either I'd had enough or…
