Did that ever work though? I used to try and do that for NES MegaMan games up it always just came out static.

What a nut punch, more than half a year without Colbert? That's the worst Christmas gift of all.

Lobsters1, Lobsters2, Phel and Prisonwine (now happily married), Jorge Von Salsa (and later his Mexican(ier)-non-union equivalent Chico Von Guacamole), gLut early gimmick account/art piece, ZMF, Tom Waits for Snowman.

ZMF may have been an early and loud commentator, but I don't know if I'd consider him prolific. He knew when to comment and when not to, such as heavier commenting on articles featuring spicy intestine burning chips.

That exchange is the worst of a whole mess of bad voice acting.

No, little light.

I'm still itching for an excuse to make some delicious boozy eggnog for a Christmas party. Once that bourbon-y concoction hits my lips 'tis truly the yuletide season.

Actually my father died coming down the chimney dressed as Santa so it's a rather bleak season. Plus the time those mogwai ate after midnight and overran my town.

The pool was always my murder machine when for whatever reason I needed one less Sim in the house.

I should have put Shadow of Mordor on my list. I think its nemesis system may be the most copied new open-world game feature of the next few years.

I'd have to look back at my catalogue and see what actually came out this past year but I have a few early contenders.

I became all grumpy after they announced Dark Souls II for the current gen, and my pre-cog sense is going off since I'm already mad at my future self for buying another copy of that game when it does. Out of spite I started another playthrough of Dark Souls.

The story is pretty ho-hum, but the relationship between Red and the Transistor (it's been awhile, does it have a name?) provides a great background for a semi-generic save-the-city plot.

The Water Temple (as you've likely read elsewhere) is head and shoulders above the others in difficulty. Once you're through there it should be smooth(er) sailing. As mentioned by @unexpected_dave:disqus, I whole heartedly suggest following it up with Majora's Mask.

Whatever.

Abortions for some, miniature American flags for others…

The sea was angry that day my friends, like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli. I got about fifty feet out and suddenly the great beast appeared before me. I tell you he was ten stories high if he was a foot. As if sensing my presence he let out a great bellow. I said "easy big fella." And then, as I

Jon Voigt bit you?!

I just got Legends for the Vita and man is it fantastic, it doesn't have the same on-the-edge-of-control that the speed of motion in the old Sonic games had but there is pure joy in running through those gorgeous levels with goofy/good soundtrack.

I must say I'm not a fan of the kids or teen tournament/week on Jeopardy. I don't know if I feel sadder watching and hearing the kids' stupid names or still saying the answers out loud to questions aimed at pre-teens.
