I will literally buy one with actual money if they bring this stateside, I’ll need a dad-mobile in a few year and this will check all the boxes. Wagon, check. Manual, check. AWD/RWD, check. Give. It. To. Me. Now. Or in a couple of years. I’ll even buy it if it only comes in some dreary grayscale variant.

What you don’t tend to find are the more fragile, fiddly cars. The ones that need attention and love to keep them going. But in this 2CV and HY combo, that’s what I found.

The Louwman museum in Den Haag. Found it while looking for a way to kill a day at Amsterdam Airport (it’s about an hour away by public transport).

As others noted, it was typically for little things. The worst mechanical issue that happened was a spark plug managed to back itself out of a cylinder. Luckily, I was idling and it didn’t detonate the engine. I shut it off almost as soon as the noise happened.

Good luck to whatever masshole gets it. First thing they’ll do to the car is a big patriots banner in the rear window, the vineyard vines whale, and to top it off a this car climbed Mt. Washington sticker. Can’t wait to be cut off by this
