If measured in decades, yes there is progress. But over the past 10-20 years, progress has been minimal at best.
I watch a lot of NBA basketball, and therefore see a lot of spectacular athleticism, but that one made me shout out loud. The angle that he took, so as not to foul him, at that speed, height and timing...pretty spectacular everytime you look at it.
