They’re “dating?” Cause I know many kids that go to prom with friends (and only friends). Why make it more than it is?

I live in the midwest and everyone hates them.
As someone who is rapidly approaching old man status, I find this endearing.
Read about Ali’s former opponents talked about him later in life. A lot of words like “friend” come up. No one will say that about Armstrong, who is a psychopath.
Question: While undoubtedly the split with CART was bad for open wheel racing, was it good for the Hulman / George family? Living in Indiana at the time, it was portrayed as a way for the family to use the Indy 500 leverage to gain control over Indy racing and make more money. Did that happen at the expense of the…
Oh for fucks sake. Real finished one point behind Barca in La Liga. They were knocked out of the Copa due to a paperwork mistake. They beat the squad that knocked Barca out of the UCL.
I donut get it.
I know what it is in accounting terms. I don’t know how it is applicable on 990s. I just don’t know what they own that can depreciate so extensively.
According to their 990 filing, they had about $29M in “depreciation, depletion and amoritization” expenses. What could that be?
The point is it doesn’t matter. The NBA is getting paid no matter what. It’s future contract is set. There is no financial motivation to influence the outcome.
The NBA has already signed their next big television contract. They don’t really care about the marginal difference in ratings that OKC would get v. GS.
There’s a salary cap. If you assume the salary cap goes away, or is significantly increased, then I agree. But you only have a finite amount of money to pay players.
If you are arguing that the salary cap should be increased, then that’s fine. No problem with that.
Actually I understand it quite well. NFL contracts most definitely could be guaranteed, but unless the salary cap is significantly increased, it would lessen their overall value - or at least their value of up front money. Teams would have to account for more years. Not rocket science.
You guaranty the contracts and they will be less lucrative. In the end Knox got paid just shy of $2 million. If the NFL required all contracts to be guaranteed, he would have likely earned less. Teams simply wouldn’t be able to afford (from a salary cap perspective) to dish out contracts of that size if there is a…
Last year Bein Sport had a couple of the semifinal matches and the final playoff match. I know they are televising the final this year. Same day as Champions League final.
How are they getting out of the lease?
“Controversy”
To be fair, he is an unemployed millennial.
Exactly. I have 45 Twitter followers. 2/3 of them are probably bots.
