Same here.  BMW does have some good engineering when it comes to crash safety.  Their expertise would go well with a family hauling minivan.

When I travel alone, it makes sense to use the subway. I pay one person’s fare and I pack light. When I travel with kids, an Uber is more time and cost effective on a per person basis than the subway.

Comparing Uber to rail is disingenuous. You need to compare the best last mile transit options at comparable locations: buses and taxis for all markets Uber operates in. I will bet Uber’s losses are still cheaper.
