And they gave up their seat on the GM board. Idiots.

If you think getting victimized by the city after having your plates stolen was bad, try getting a ticket after someone jacks your tires.
So VW’s that can last past year 5 should be OK for cheap ass jalops to buy.
The asshole on the assembly line is still ultimately the responsibility of the CEO. Makes perfect sense.
Corporate C suite is synonymous with the corporation. The union boss is synonymous with the union.
Step 1: checks for palm oil. If no, checks for avocado oil. If no, stop.
Seriously, judge unions by their actions. Don’t just throw support behind all unions just because “unions”.
The engraver is happy. He got paid. So win?
You get a star for the sarcasm.
Not to mention express buses like the 8AX can achieve a 30 minute commute from the Southern end of San Francisco into the Financial district because it use freeways.
Yes, this was a thing even today. You do not really think those useless majors at Ivy League schools actually were for the people to use in the real world, did you?
Apple, Oracle, and other Silicon Valley firms recruits heavily from San Jose State University.
No one NEEDs to go to a 65, 000 per year University and cheating lower income kids out of an education
As an SF resident, losing the front plate (yes, people steal them) means I get a $35 ticket to fund the city’s operating budget.
Just a thought: why not make the front plates like the registration sticker and it goes on the front bumper? There is no chance of theft short of stealing the whole front bumper and it does not screw up the aerodynamics of the car since the sticker will be form fitting.
To be fair, the earthquake did that job for the state.
When the author is anti-car, the solution to everything is to eliminate car related infrastructure. Freeways serve a purpose to separate cars from people while speeding up commute times. When designed properly, they don’t have to separate spaces (See US 101 in the Presidio in San Francisco).
Keep in mind the Big Dig HID a freeway, not eliminate one. What some people are advocating is removal and placing all traffic onto slower city streets.
Hammering only one aspect of an issue also removes nuances critical to understanding the problems. Back to you.
