Welcome to the A.V. Club, where the Walking Dead will never be good enough and they will always complain about things that are perfectly acceptable in other shows (case in point, the whole rant about us currently being in the hopeless part of the dramatic arc) but here it's used to find at least SOMETHING to complain

I don't think this is really a fair review. They HAVE shown several times that zombies are drawn to fire and they have literally zero self-preservation instinct, they just see "huge, glowy and shiny" (plus explosion noise from a rocket launcher), and they move toward what makes the most noise or calls more attention

Not sure what the hate with Nick is, I like his character. He's a combination between a street-smart character and the dead weight character, which makes him a very versatile character. Plus I like how he's acted.
