This doesn’t entirely work. They will follow the mining laser back to you eventually. I’ve been studying this little buggers behavior as I absolutely destroy them on site. They wanted me to hate them  

This all day long. I’m happily mining ferite dust for a base i’m build on an “ABANDONED” moon. Sentinel scout sees me and i jump into a nearby cave to escape seal the entrance behind me and the darned thing glitches into the cave with me. I jetpack up to get out and not only do i take blaster fire from the sentinel…
