Did you actually watch the video before you made your bigoted assumption, because, Deadspin? Apparently not. In the video, Mixon explains that he’s using table salt HERE because he wants it to dissolve on the meat’s surface, and not leave grains/a granular texture. Many of his other recipes/rubs call for kosher salt,
