Gawker has this bizarre notion that every industry, every company, every neighborhood of every town in every state should PRECISELY MATCH the overall demographic of the entire country. If there are xx% black women in the US, then dammit every fucking company damn well better have a matching percentage on staff.

Wow. That’s actually worse than the overall journalism industry diversity numbers, and diversity in journalism is FAR FAR worse than in tech. Gawker has no credibility whatsoever on this stuff. They do hypocrisy like Shakespeare does literature.
