That’s what I wonder about as well. In the wake of the MAX crashes due to a glitch in a sensor how likely will it be that automated vehicles that are much cheaper to have similar failures and glitches that cause crashes and fatalities.

4th gear I think the fear is warranted. If Airbus and Boeing cannot get the automation to work properly when a sensor fails successfully hand off the aircraft to pilots that are trained to do just that in +$100,000,000 jet liners resulting in hundreds of deaths. What is a sensor failing or becoming defective in a

I agree many people do not look at the earning potential of a particular degree or course of study. I had my undergrad paid for by the military and a garenteed job when I graduated so I majored in something interesting to me, got a job in logistics and used that experience to further my career. I left the service then

I have owned 4 vehicles purchased in 2008 , 2011,and 2018. The first was a 2005 Suburban that I paid for in a year. Sold it for 2k less then I paid and bought The second, my 2010 Raptor paid for in 3 years. I bought my 2013 F150 in 2018. People asked my how I was going to pay for both trucks. I responded that the

That might be his best way to not go underwater as Raptor’s have an crazy high resale value. It’s not like he rolled it into an escape or something that’s going to depreciate like a rock.

I leave mine on but I rarely parallel park. But judging by the amount of fender damage I see on vehicles in major cities makes me understand why some people might do it. I do remove my hitch when I parallel park out of curtesy to my fellow drivers on the rare occurance when I don’t park in a lot

I used that same video in an post when the accident first happened it’s funny that people not familiar with the area think that since it was night a human driver would not have see the person either. A human would have there is so much light around mill avenue

Having driven that road at night it is actually well lit an attentive human would have seen the victim if they had been paying attention and not looking at their phone Messing with their night vision. It’s a case of distracted driving. That area has a large number of homeless under the loop 202 which is elevated above

It’s still around in 2015 the switched to 6 lug making it less noticeable but if you look at the order guide they still have dedicated wheels for that package you just need to know more to look at what the truck is equipped with.

They made them until 2014 with 7 lug wheels otherwise indistguishable from the regular f150. The aluminum trucks went to 6 lug wheels common to other f150s so harder to distinguish but they still offer it

I think the red one is a ford mule. I have seen some higher trim miles in the wild I would assume they are checking interior for wear and tear as well as making the engineers more comfortable.

Agreeded it appears the picture of the one in the linked article is an actual Ford mule. I don’t think that Rivian would buy a 2018-2019 f150 platinum just to use its top shell additionally that truck has OEM parts compared to the other mile hiding under an f150 that looks like it’s a 15-17 Lower trim model.

I have worked in union and non union environments and I have seen production line workers who with OT making 6 figures. The ones doing the best were actually non union they made more had better working conditions, safer work environment and no forcing 16 hour days. If the market demands those skills be set at a

I bought mine for 37k out the door for a 5.4l I picked up in 2011 so 20k more lol. Deals can be had if you were an early adopter

It is a good thing and a bad thing. To the people In the know it shows that you bought the more expensive model. Typically other people who know about the cost of the trucks and have the expensive model. It also lets you blend better with people that don’t have knowledge of the costs of the trucks. I’m able to show up

I have a 2013 F150 platinum (last generation) and a co-worker has a 2014 Q7 my coworkers agreeded  that the F150 of the same vintage is nicer than the q7 additionally it’s quicker with better fuel economy. Has more features , better infotainment more advanced 4x4 system. The Q7 handles better that’s about it. The only

The ridgeline will need a proper 4x4 system not one that over heats on a dirt road but one that will stay locked. And have a low range.

Fords elockers work in 2wd from 2012 on in F-series and all Raptor’s from 2010 in. I own a 2010 raptor and a 2013 F150 and had a 2012 superduty work truck for a while. All could lock in 2wd.

I don’t think many people realize that mandatory seatbelt laws drove more people to crew cabs. You cannot just throw the kids in the bed anymore.

I raise you a raptor with studded Duratracs. TFL showed that a stock raptor could stop shorter in the snow than a stock outback. Plus locking everything together mechanicaly ensures maximum grip in the white stuff.
