I have a cover on the bed that’s easy to use it’s a rolling one pretty durable and keeps most of the elements out including the 2 legged kind. Now there is no climate control back there so it can be a draw back. But the lower cost than a comparable SUV makes it worth it.

I have those on my Ford Raptor as well that thing is a beast in the snow. The extra grip really helps handling and stopping in inclement weather. 

My driving style I’d probably be in the boost a lot but from everything I have heard the 3.5l does better mpg than the 5.0l in normal use and can turn it up a notch in performance when asked to. I bought used and didn’t want to risk some bad maintenance on a turbo engine.
