If you use one enough then renting can cost more than owning plus the rental places often say you cannot drive their rentals on a dirt road. Additionally trucks generally when new are a lot cheaper to buy than the equivalent SUV. It is roughly $16,000 more for an Expedition than an F150 comparably equipped before you

The thing is that many pickup owners drive their trucks more than most people. I have put 30K on my Raptor in the last year. I was doing 25k a year when i lived walking/ biking distance to work ( yes i rode my bike to work and was still driving that much in 90% of the miles needed either a 4x4 or the cargo volume.)

OR you know just buy a used nice truck for less money.

I bought my Raptor one year old 10,000 miles for $37,500 out the door it stickers for 42,600 and was first sold in California so I’m pretty sure I got a good deal. 3 weeks ago I bought a 2013 platinum with 65k for $29 + tax title and tag. Considering I drive 30k a year right now a new truck that stickers for $65k

I went ahead and bought a lightly used truck since I drive so much I don’t want to eat a lot of depreciation. It’s more used than my Raptor was when I got it. But fully loaded 5.0L with low miles for its year makes it hard to beat when the 2018 version would be double the price for 60,000 fewer miles .

Don’t buy one if you have a shoe size bigger than 9 you will have a hard time with the peddles. Or if your legs have any length your legs are wedges too deep in the dash. I drove one of these in college and found the John deer gator to be a much better handeling and comfortable vehicle. Plus 6 wheel drive.

90s era 1/2 ton GM trucks and SUVs they are cheap easy to fix, teach kids how to handle a large vehicle, they will learn to watch traffic and break sooner, and over all better car handling skills  If they can parallel park one of these they can park any thing. Get horrible milage so they will not go far, No fancy

The 5 million are paying members, there are plenty of people who still agree with the NRAs messages and others who while not liking the NRA support the 2nd amendment to say its only 5 million. There were 25 million background checks completed last year alone in this country. Pew research says that only 29% of gun

Just stating the cold hard facts.

I bought 3 of my 5 guns at the same time and bought 10,000 rounds of Ammo that I’m stgoung through some of. That was 9 years ago buying at Costco level is better when you have the cash. These mass shooters are not even buying amp in high quantities because the know they aren’t going to use that much. It’s the

The ability for the gun to fire quickly is based on the design of the gun to chamber the next round using the force exerted on it the cycle and bring the next round into firing position. Most of the current gun designs go back over 100 years in terms of how they operate. The only way to slow them down is to ad complex

Pistols kill more than rifles which kill less than Blunt objects.

Let’s ban blunt objects they kill more people than the AR15 every year.

People already cannot buy automatic weapons made after 1986. Additionally some of the proposed restrictions are the same as out lawing adjustable pedals and steering wheel hight adgustments because the nut bag in Charlottesville ran over people in a car that had them. Most of these gun bans target cosmetic or

Most gun owners own guns that appear to be militaristic but function differently on the inside. These guns are designed to be ergonomically better for shooters engaging in their hobby. Here are 2 guns one New York compliment (strict gun laws) one that is not

I agree here is my brothers truck 5 hours into a 12 hour drive. The front HIDs being on didn’t stop them from icing over.

I agree I have a 2013 Platinum and it is a really nice place sit the leather is nice and soft seats feel right and you sit above everyone else and can see father ahead so you feel less confined. Plus if you aren’t towing or hauling you have enough power to move when you need too.

It included the labor as it was the drivers door and she could not open the door even from the inside they had to remove the door panel.

She owned it free and clear. Not everyone leases cars most of my co-workers and myself own instead of leasing as the geography of where we work has us doing an 80 mile round trip commute every day. Pretty sure the older e39s were easier to fix and wrench on than the newer E60 and F10s. Most of the current BMWs are

Good riddance BMW one of my coworkers had the lock fail on her drivers door and it costs $800 to repair. I replaced a door on my Raptor for $500
