My fun is 4x4 and I now daily a used platinum.

Just about everyone I know who has an F-Serise buys the ones with leather. I own a 2010 Raptor with luxury Package and a 2013 F-150 Platinum. I just picked up the Platinum on Tuesday as a second vehicle, Its carfax said it was a commercial vehicle. Only the big fleets are buying the xl trim i.e. the government. XLT

People said that 5 gears where to many, then 6, 8 , 10 etc. I don’t think we will get many more great but ford offers the 10 speed in the F150 for the last 2 years and GM will offer it in their 1500s as well as the Mustang and Camaro having the same transmission. My brother rented an 18 F150 and loved the way the

Remember the first gen Raptor was heavier than the current gen and only had 2" shocks.

Additionally none of the rental car companies allow you to go On Dirt roads

But do you need to be doing “spirited driving” everyday, on every road? The Raptor has surprisingly good road manners for a full size truck that allows for spirited driving on road. I have put 153,000 miles on my Raptor since I got it done a lot of off road driving with it over the years but still need to go to the

Ford has had this on the F-series since 2011

As a Pepsi employee most people are surprised at what we make. Lays, ruffles, Fritos Doritos cheetos role gold pretzels , mrs vikkies, grandmas cookies sun chips, stacys pita chips, sabra humas, Tropicana, Gatorade, Quaker, rice a ronie, Aunt Jemima brands are part of Pepsi. The drink is just a small part of the

David I’m with you and try to by the right stock vehicle and only do bolt on mods, but I so very often in the Ford Raptor community that people take a beautiful engineered machine and butcher it taking a brand new truck that with dealer mark ups costs in the $80k range throwing out fenders wheels tires suspension,

My parents were strange in that the quested after manual diesel wagons and had large SUVs we had an 86 trooper a 95 and a 99 Suburban. My mom got tired of driving the Suburbans everywhere and used my dad’s 93 SHO while he had an E46 M3 which she made him trade for a Jetta diesel (she wanted a wagon, but they had a

If the state government wants to take people’s homes and property to build a high speed rail line then they can go ahead the thing is that even with eminent domain it becomes cost prohibitive to do as well as many people don’t want the train in their back yard so they will oppose the rail based on the location not the

Yes and I acknowledge that in another post to answer your question New York City as a population density of 10,890 people per square km. Paris is 20,909 per sq km London is less dense at 5590. So NYC is right between the densities of London and Paris Boston and D.C. Are e only areas that come close and lack the

Yes the eastern seaboard would work but you would need to eminent domain a lot of different expensive land areas to get the track straight enough to run fast. The most passengers the Eurostar took was 9.1 million in 2008 between two cities the size of LA that was much more dense. Eurostar even lowered their prices to

I don’t really consider those countries to be more or less civilized . High speed rail doesn’t work in this country because the distances are much greater than in Europe. Combined with our more rugged geography makes air travel a more cost effective alternative. US population density 33/km^2. The U.K. Is 271 people

In that case when their is no reduced lighting but visibility is still poor than people need to do the common sense thing and turn on their lights. I drive a white truck and when the sky is grey in the winter I drive with my lights on but in 99.99 % of the time the auto function works well.

What about humans or bikers or bicyclists who wear dark cloths. Lots of people wear dark cloths at night will the lidar system not see them either ? What about service members whose uniforms are designed to not show up on NIR sensor systems like lidar. Until the vehicles can detect anything they can potential interact

On the newer f150s if you use the wipers with auto lamp the lights come on. So some vehicles do account for weather.

I have left all my vehicles with auto their unless I felt I needed extra illumination and the sensor would not give it. In my truck if the wipers are set to intermintint mode the lights come on even if the dash does not illuminate. It’s interesting what you say about Canada as my brothers truck is the same generation

I know of ford raptor owners who would do that if they got them for MSRP then after a year they could trade them in due to the way the values were calculated due to high resale value those trucks have. Additionally if you buy a new diesel HD during truck month with incentives and get some sort of family and friends

In most situatiobs ABS doesn’t engage because locked wheels stop faster. On my Gen1 Ford Raptor it you turn on off road mode and hold the traction control button for 8 Second it retards the abs activation and will lock the brakes at speeds below 20 mph. This allows the truck to stop quicker when you need to in low
