As someone who worked for the people who stand to benefit from Net Neutrality being abolished in the past... this is a fallacy.
See lots of republican voters parroting the Fox News talking points, somehow now convinced Net Neutrality is a bad thing... even though it benefits all citizens regardless of party affiliation/religion/whatever equally. Honestly given that the Trump administration didn’t hold the popular vote and given he has way more…
US Navy apologizes for disclosing its top secret flight plan for North Korean flyovers
Yep, they’ll actually go blind, taurine is a critical amino acid and they can only absorb it in sufficient quantities by consuming other animals. They’re obligate carnivores, they need to consume meat.
I eat salmon (and trout) completely plain, just grilled, occasionally pulled from the river myself.
Agreed, all things considered it’s probably better for society at large to experience occasional reminders for “Why this guy was a massive racist, xenophobic, egotistical asshole who dragged an entire country along with his insanity” versus pretending never speaking his name will have some net positive effect on…
Not to mention unless you’re going to convince every single pet owner to give up Sparky or the family cat, there’s still always going to be a constant demand for meat for the burgeoning pet food market (and in this economic situation would probably jack up the prices).
Cows are probably preferred simply because of their versatility as a food source, producing dairy which is in constant demand (basic staples like butter/milk/cheeses are part of multi-billion dollar industries, essentially all desserts and/or baked goods contain one or more of these), if/when this stops being…
Yea it existed in 1984 but it was basically impossible, was just a quarter devouring monster, the vast majority of the gameplay was basically deciding how to move/dodge, sort of a “Quicktime sequence that never ends”. You’ll very rarely see it pop up in other weird obscure references from the 80s, like Robot Chicken:
If it was an ACTUAL screenshot wouldn’t the textures be missing, or wouldn’t it look like some kind of Dr. Moreu nightmare Hippo person?
To be fair “We trap you in a nightmare hellscape where you will likely be eaten by a monster” would be a significant improvement over the last few attempts at Healthcare reform. Maybe they just mixed up the promotional materials
I normally agree that keeping a world leader’s children out of the equation when it comes to criticism is appropriate. That changes when you assign them an official position as White House advisor. At this point they cease to be “unrelated” to any criticism leveled at the administration.. as they are now part of it.
To be fair, the content delivered in something like Witcher 3's Blood and Wine falls more into traditional “expansion pack” territory of games of old, such as D2's Lord of Destruction xpac. This type of thing has traditionally been positively received universally by gamers.
Conversely Ubisoft/AC is rather more well…
As did I, when I first heard it described I thought it was a Team Fortress/Overwatch clone and immediately stopped caring about it. Still have no idea what it is, but apparently it’s not that.
I understand the argument that it has no inherent value due to flat characters/lack of character development, etc. It’s important to bear in mind the genre and era it’s referencing though.
This is my exact opinion on this title as well. Frontloaded rewards, zero endgame. Play for two weeks, turn it off for six months.
How Blizzard Saved Diablo 3 From Disaster: they didn’t. The game really is still pretty awful. It’s not the absolute dumpster fire it was at launch, but they’ve still front loaded all the rewards to the point where you can go from the character creation screen to “done” with a character in BiS season loot in the span…
