Yeah, this thing is in very nice condition. I’d be surprised if the owner hasn’t addressed the head gasket. If not, then he/she will also know to allow you to haggle. 

Yeah, I’m surprised Rob missed that. He must not have a lot of experience with 2.5L engines. 

Oh, wow! So Chrystler did that to differentiate it from the Diplomat. I had only remembered seeing the Diplomat. Clever, but not quite attractive. 

I hope they got the correct person, and that the charges stick. 

It doesn’t hurt to have a second line of credit available in these circumstances. Now that I think about it, they probably could have been approved for a new credit card in less than 24 hours if they had applied. Could have saved their trip, and given them an opportunity to give the middle finger to their bank. 

But the Prius would not leave a gray cloud of tire smoke while doing so. 

It looks like the customizer intentionally flipped the headlamp-turn-directional assemblies to create that custom face on this car. It took me a bit of time to figure out why I had never previously seen that setup. I’m not a fan of it, but it does add a certain sinister look. 

If the heater is deleted, does the ducting remain for fresh air? Or is all of that gone? 

It looks better with the turn directional lights below the headlamps. This  modded one has them above. It’s a weird look, for some reason. I’m not sure why. 

Yeah, rich people can blow toxic shit up whenever they want, but we need to buy expensive electric vehicles to save the environment. That’s the rule. 

For regular cars, do your research.

This is a really pretty convertible with instant cache for anyone aware of cars in that era. For that money, you can buy many other interesting cars. Making one of the best handling cars of the 80's into a convertible is controversial, of course.

YES! I think Bags explains it best. People think they can just throw up an ad and the money will come. That kind of marketing CAN work, but it’s not the most effective.

I wonder how many Youtubers will call in a hoax rollercoaster emergency and “see how long until the park responds”. In the meantime, this all takes resources from running the park. I hope this is not the case. (Come to think of it, I wonder if it’s illegal to call in a false rollercoaster emergency.)

I wonder how many false alarms they get about people claiming they see cracks and stuff. Some people express their paranoias or simply get their kicks doing strange things.

There are at least two other T-Birds from 2002 being posted for sale at ~$25,000. Compared to those, the price isn’t far off, but in reality, these people have all gone mad!

And YET (and I apologize to those who read my previous low-mileage car sale comments), WHY do these people think they can receive collector car prices on a Craig’s List ad with less detail than when I sold a used child safety gate for $20??? WTF is a hoof rat?

I might have traded my SHO for a wagon if it had the 6 speed. Instead I’ve ended up in a Mazda5. The TSX would have been a bit more luxurious. 

I was haunting the used-car sites for the TSX sedan 6speed, and the 2009+ models really never dipped below $8k-$12K. Covid added $2k to the pricing and inflation another 1k, so that makes this an okay price with the rebuilt title. (As estimated by wonky math.)
