I still submit that Italian cars in the US are a secret ploy by VAG and Mercedes to pay Italy to push unreliable cars on us in order to make their own offerings look better in comparison. Wouldn't be the first time the Germans made the Italians do their dirty work.

The Focus gives you a lot more power and much more sophisticated rear suspension. The fact that the Fieata ST includes Sync standard (many say it actually works and is useful now) makes it seem like an excellent value proposition, but it's hard to argue that the Focus ST isn't a more well-rounded product with more

Cabelas! I have this hat as well. And NOBODY is charging at me with a full frontal assault when I wear it walking down my street.

I might as well point it out before someone else does: highly unlikely that random dudes are ever walking around with "assault rifles". Rifles, sure. Scary looking rifles, sure. Assault rifles, most definitely not.

I was actually unpleasantly surprised, and rather unnerved, by an experience I had last week. I was driving down the Van Dyke expressway from Shelby Twp, and there was a pair of guys on sportbikes who came out of the subdivision prior, and merged on to the expressway. I would guesstimate they were probably between 30

And by the lowest crime rates 'in the world' you mean, 'in the US'. The lowest crime rates per capita in the US are all way above crime rates in Europe. I do not feel like explaining why, since the reasons for this always causes somewhat of a stir on these sites, but these guys would have been sentenced to somewhere

Unless you only read gun blogs, almost every single study done on this topic internationally has shown exactly the opposite to be true. More guns leads to more gun violence.

I own guns, I like guns, guns are fun and useful. That said, the open carry movement is counter productive. No one wants to be anywhere random dudes are walking around with assault rifles. If the open carry guys gave two shits about how they're making other people feel, they wouldn't be pulling the stunts they're

It's completely unnecessary and just asking for attention walking around with such big weapons. Carry a handgun openly all day, for all I care. It has nothing to do with "being a victim" but rather, "look what I can do, and legally get away with while feeling tough."

Not even so much paranoid looking, just a bunch of crazies trying to start BS so they can go out of this world on a stretcher. Kind of like the 1980's ahole smokers that weren't happy with just smoking beside you, they would stand right in front of you & blow smoke directly into your face while trying to stare you

These guys are stupid pricks for doing this. They wanted to cause an uproar and instead they found a police officer that played by the rules. +1 for the cops and -1 for the gun rights turds.

Exactly. If you want to carry a gun, carry a pistol. Carry it concealed if you can. Walking around with an AR over you shoulder just makes you look like a paranoid nutjob and makes other gun owners look bad.

"Unreasonably afraid" is relative. If there were anybody around me with an AR, or really anything above a BB gun, I would be more afraid than usual. I don't know their mind or motives, but fuck them if they're stressing me out for no reason other than to make a statement. Their view sucks, and it seems yours does too.

Oh well it's going as predicted. America alone will destroy itself. We're getting there one bullet at a time

As with many things in life...just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

The other issue I see is the 500 Abarth's manic character. It's a big part of what makes the car so great. But it's ALWAYS ON. Ever take someone to the airport in a 500 Abarth at 5 a.m.? I have. It's not pleasant.

Let me preface this by saying that I really do love the 500 Abarth. It's about as much fun as you can have in a car. I love that it exists and that it's sold in America. Last year I almost bought one.

The general consensus of European motoring journos is that the Abarth's fizzy engine note earns it some accolades, but the Fiesta is orders of magnitude better to drive. But then, the 500 generally has a fairly poor reputation for handing here.

About what? Not my money being spent on an inferior, overpriced car with serious limitations and serious quality issues.

Cue the Tesla apologists. Like I have said before, when you are a new company selling a $70,000 car for $100,000 and in very limited numbers, you can afford to and have to fix every single little thing and wipe the asses of your customers. As time goes on there are more and more cars on there, maybe ownership changes
