You are supposed to report the service to the IRS if you pay a servant $2000 or more a year. I am a cleaner and none of my clients pay me that much in a year, but that is the threshold.

I am a house cleaner and charge between $12 to $15 per hour depending on how my negotiations go with a client. Maybe in New York I could charge more. I know the national services cost more, so maybe that is why it cost so much?
