If I had a PS4, I’m pretty sure the first time I played this game I would turn my character into a gigantic fatass just to see how playable it is that way.

Having just finally gotten around to watching the last episode of The Alienist the night before, I was very glad it lost that category.

Oneida has covered “SPQR” a bunch of times live in the last few years, but as far as I remember haven’t released it in recorded form, though it might be findable in live recordings.

This week’s Shirt Club shirt is the Big Villain mentor program one that Monarch and 21 were wearing.

I’m sure it has perfectly legitimate artistic uses but foamcore always makes me think of shitty middle school art projects, which made St. Cloud’s use of it that much more hilariously pathetic.

The jungle fight scene has incredible (sorry...) action, but it’s elevated by Dash’s improvising and simultaneously discovering and reveling in what he can do with his powers.

My aunt and uncle have a cat named Maggie and I can’t help calling it Magaggie every time I see it. It’s just instinct, can’t do anything about it.

On the one hand I’m sort of surprised there’s nothing mentioned here about a potential adaptation of China Mieville’s Bas-Lag novels, but on the other hand, I’m not surprised in the slightest.

My heart loves the idea of a Culture tv show but my brain knows that it would be a complete disaster.

I kind of hated parts of the first book (the only one I’ve read so far)*. I don’t know much of that was the translation though.

I got the impression that he also just likes the work (or just wants to be useful / have something to stay occupied with) but yeah, there’s definitely a feeling of a longer game in the works too.
