I wouldn’t necessarily call it undeserved, exactly, but the scene towards the end of the series finale of Due South, where Fraser and Ray (the new one) head off together to find the Northwest Passage, always gets me. Always.

Damn it, I want to know what that Pere Ubu joke is but I don’t want to see this movie. What a dilemma.

I thought for a second it was two dogs somehow and then realized nope, he’s just twisted himself through a full 180 degrees.

I want to see a recurring “Music Talk with Stephen & Joshua” segment where the two of them just argue about various 60s rock bands and their discographies.

*Takes out of refrigerator a paper bag with “second half of season 5 — Do Not Eat” written on it*

That show description definitely doesn’t help either.

I can’t help but imagine that the people who have to write those show descriptions are the most miserable bastards in the television industry.

The season 3 premier of Baskets was summarized thusly: “Chip learns how to transfer a call.” Most of the other episodes of the season (and the series, if I remember correctly) were similarly brief and digressive.

I was so glad the Lieutenant recovered from that bout of meningitis.

*Applauds*

Who among us hasn’t contemplated doing exactly that at one time or another?

Same here. You might be able to do Cryptonomicon as a limited series thing, but even then it’d be tricky.

If I promise to pronounce it “sym-bee-otic,”can my posts finally be posted without having to go through the approval thing every bleedin time?

I’m listening to it on Spotify right now and yeah, it’s great. I still gotta look into getting the vinyl though.

Do they even if plenty of people read it?

It’s nuts!

Bowie? Though I guess he also wasn’t in that many films either, but maybe more high-profile ones.

“What’s your favorite water body?” “The human body. It’s my favorite body. It’s mainly water.”

Now playing

This one is top 5, maybe top 3, possibly top 1 for me:

“Sea Change”. Nice one. I assume they started with the title and went from there.
