Just like other jurisdictions, the cops here in Hawaii have a stupidly strong union that seems designed to protect the worst of the worst. It’s not uncommon for the process to fire a cop here take years. Even then, we’ve seen the union successfully get the firing overturned and the cop rehired.

Now playing

And never talk to the cops except through a lawyer. Doesn’t matter how innocent you are. If you doubt me just watch this video:

Just picking and choosing what to follow and what to not follow that an officer tells you to do can be incredibly risky. Couple that with the fact that it’s hard to decipher what is a direct order and what is simply them trying to get you to do something on your own volition, makes dealing with cops way more confusing

HNN investigated the case, compiling information from Fepuleai’s arrest documents as well as video and audio footage from the officer’s body cam, which the patrolman turned off at one point — a violation of the Honolulu Police Department’s arrest procedures.

Just another bad apple right?

Always assume the police (anyone in power?) are not acting in your best interest, especially once they have you in cuffs they now assume you are guilty and will act accordingly.

IMHO it was kind of a missed opportunity not to have rideable horses considerin all the groundwork RDR already did for that. I could totally see switching to Trevor as he wakes up sitting on a horse bacwards somewhere in the middle of nowhere. The big horse race track in the game makes me think that it was a scrapped

I don’t buy that line of thought.

The pre-greenlight system of vetting every game was awful. Way too much of a bottleneck, took weeks for games to get approved, and turned away a lot of good games for inconsistent reasons. Even by Valve’s own admission they would’ve turned away Visual Novel games had the system not changed because they’d assume there

there used to be something like that...but people complained about Valve “Gatekeeping”...so they changed it to $100 and you can put up your game.

It was often the most wishlisted game on Steam for much of 2023. A lot of people thought a no-name development team could build a AAA open world MMO.  It didn’t help that the dev team CLEARLY LIED about what features would be in the game.

Guess you could say the folks dense enough to buy this thing were only born... The day before.

So Texas is a state where abortion is basically illegal under all circumstances, and that places a cap on paternity payments? Wow... a woman voting Republican in Texas is kinda like an African American joining the Klan. And yet, so many do....

I was just about to write “isn’t it enough to raise normal kids for $2700 permonth ??”

Yeah, that amount is paltry and insulting.

- ol Musky the clown

Bitches about Taylor not having kids, yet won’t take care of his own. His daughter disowned him.

$2760 per month to raise 3 kids?! Besides Musk being a billionaire, even if this was a an upper middle class family with kids in a modest private or catholic school that costs $8k/year, a divorced parent might not be able to keep the kids in their school with this ridiculously low cap. Texas- pro life for the unborn bu

Musk going “Fuck you for blackmailing me with money”.  Such a dumbfuck deadbeat fascist apartheid Afrikaaner.

The man has billions of dollars and he’s arguing about maybe $50 - $100k a year.
