So, they were off by a year.
So, they were off by a year.
I was at a friend’s 30th birthday dinner Friday and his 14-year-old sister asked him if he still had any of his really old Pokémon cards. He said, “yeah” and asked why she wanted to know. She brought up how much they were worth now and he started thinking about selling them. I wonder if any of the cards I have around…
Replied to the wrong comment.
Lesser Dog has an articulated neck ^_^
A cage added to a building would be fine, it’s not an active jammer. Using EM sources to block other EM sources is not fine that is an active jammer.
I’m highly sociable in the beginning, then I get introspective, and then I just feel comfortable and tired. Even when I drank more regularly in my 20's, I never blacked out though. I’m actually more prone to violent thinking when sober because I’m not as careful about watching my temper as I am when I’m intoxicated.
If it’s a modern car, you’ll also kill the car itself and when the steering locks up, you’d better hope it doesn’t hit you (or anyone else for that matter).
A passive cage would be legal a device that could be turned on and off would be illegal jamming and subject to massive FCC fines (some hotels got caught doing this and were fined hundreds of thousands of dollars).
I go without alcohol for months and then drink to extreme excess. (For example, I’ve had about 5 total servings of alcohol since New Year’s Day but, I drank about 6 that night alone and there’s a party coming up where I might do the same or more in a couple weeks.) I wonder if there’s a problem there?
Some of that regulation is necessary. I’ve worked in insurance and I’ve known people who, if we didn’t have rules that required us to do things in particular ways, would screw people over horribly just to earn commissions. I’ve read policies where people have clearly done some pretty bad things to their clients that…
I read elsewhere that most Japanese cons (this is one of them) require you to change into and out of your cosplay onsite so that they don’t get bad press for having all the cosplayers travelling to and from the convention derssed oddly. So, I’m guessing that if someone walks into the dressing rooms looking male and…
On phones that support USB On-the-Go, isn’t the port powered? I know that my drives get power from somewhere (the light turns on) when I plug them into my phone.
You don’t need a passport to drive across the border to Mexico or Canada, only to fly (I live in Michigan). Most, if not all by now, border states have ‘enhanced’ ID/driver licences available that will allow you to re-enter the country over a land border.
I participated in that AP poll. I didn’t realize how many people had been convinced that our electoral process was corrupted.
Well, if they currently employ any other union workers (writers for example), they risk losing all of them if they hire outside. That becomes a game of chicken, who can survive the lack of output longer, the employers or the employees.
From the Michigan voters precinct managing manual:
That’s not always legal, here’s the law in Michigan:
In most states, bikes aren’t considered pedestrians. This means that they are vehicles and, just like slow moving farm implements that are allowed on surface streets but not interstates, they are expected to operate on roadways with other vehicle traffic and not endanger pedestrians on sidewalks or other non-road…
I generally assumed this too. Then I realized that I’d had loose stools for three months straight and that I’d lost 20 pounds. Ah, to be a university student without health insurance again.
It wouldn’t just be a North/South split now. Michigan has a Republican-controlled legislature and a Republican Governor as do many other ‘Northern’ states. The only reason this state tends to elect Democrats to the US Senate and for President is because of our larger cities but, if it really came down to it, it’s hard…
