Honestly, I missed the sarcasm too and was looking through replies to see if I missed anything. It wasn't all that clear really.

As long as applications can still be installed on Windows 8 PC's without going through their App Store, there probably isn't any anti-trust issue. Remember Windows is still the dominant player in the PC OS market. Even if the US doesn't hit them on the anti-trust issue, I'm willing to bet that the EU will kill them…
Turn based? PSP? Oh well, I'll just have to wait another 10 years 29 days for the full PC version ^_^
I think it's still relevant. Especially in this case.
When I originally read this, before reading Sugoi's reply, I thought someone released a game version of SAO. Man, I was going to demand to know where you bought it ^_^
Back when my family had Comcast service in the early part of last decade, we got a Linksys WCG-200. We used it until 2009 when it finally died. Saved us about 7 years worth of $7/month rental fees. Not bad for $130. Now I have Charter and they're not charging a rental fee so I haven't been compelled to buy another…
I just want to say here that your username makes this quite interesting ^_^
They managed to take a URL (MikeRoweSoft.com) from a teenaged programmer named Mike Rowe who posted his projects there so yeah, copyright law needs to be overhauled some ^_^
My question is, will there be an HTC EVO 4G LTE + on Sprint with this hardware? I ask mainly because my brother is a major HTC fan and he's looking at the EVO 4G LTE to replace his EVO 3D (which in turn replaced his EVO 4G) next month. Personally, I'm sticking with Nexus models as far as I can since I've been…
I like my car just fine, it's a major investment after all. I just personally don't like driving. Concerning the phone comment, I like my Galaxy Nexus even though I don't enjoy long phone conversations. I just accept that some things can only be dealt with by speaking with someone over the phone rather than by…
The problem is that, at least with US bicycle helmet standards, a bicycle helmet won't protect much in the case of an accident with a car at speed. Standard bike helmets are only designed to protect from falls or low speed (~20km/h) accidents. To actually protect from higher energy impacts, you'd need something more…
I don't know exactly where you're from but most places here in the United States have horrible public transit. Right now I live at least 10 miles from the closest bus stop but if I did still live in my birth city, then I'd have to deal with busses on limited routes that run on a 30 minute schedule on weekdays…
WTF!? That is definitely the widest belt I've seen in quite a while (outside of WWE or prize fighting). Seriously though, I was having a conversation with a female friend of mine wondering how a company could charge the same amount of (and in some cases more!) money for a couple hundred square inches of fabric that…
Haven't you heard about Google's project? That's the end goal. Drive manually when you wish to do so but have auto-drive available when you don't. I normally don't feel like driving even when I have to so I'd probably be using auto mostly but to each his own.
You just have to load your previous save when you install a new episode. I got confused there at the beginning of Episode 2. If you just go to the Load Game menu, you'll be sent to the Episode choosing screen. Slide right to the newest one and there you go. All choices intact ^_^
On the other end of the spectrum, if you use a digital camera to take a picture of the output of an infrared remote control you will often, depending on the camera, see the little bulb glowing a pale red color. This is the camera 'seeing' infrared light and showing you red since that's what the screen can reproduce.
I've heard from ice cream makers that quality control is near-impossible when using human females for milk production so I guess non-human mammals are all we have left ^_^
In my hometown, there have been people stealing aluminum siding off of houses in broad daylight. A copper roof wouldn't stand a chance.
I agree with a_blackpanther, this could have gotten pretty nasty, in fact I'm going to avoid the other threads here because I'm SURE that at least one of them is, but, you handled this quite admirably. I tip my hat to you ^_^
At the time it wasn't known that they would be using the planes as weapons and don't forget hindsight. Not knowing that thousands would be killed, he was unwilling to order the military to attack civilian aircraft killing hundreds. In hindsight, that was a bad decision but had anyone else used a hijacked airplane as…
