In fact in my counties courthouse prospective jurors and lawyers are the only outside people allowed to bring their phones into the courthouse at all. You just have to turn it off (not vibrate or silent) while in the courtroom or while in deliberations.
I think that the point is that a properly educated adult should be able to, given the facts of the case, come to a well reasoned decision without needing any special qualifications. We all know that's BS with our current public school system being what it is but it is one of the core values of this nation. Honestly,…
Of course! I do the same thing when I watch an embedded YouTube video that I really like so that I can 'Like' it. It's only fair ^_^
Of course not, it's hilarious ^_^
The executable is still only 719KB. How 'bloated' could the program be?
My 3.1 (Free) executable is 719KB so I guess @D.Smithee was right.
My 3.0 executable is 627KB so that's still small.
Also @asj5000 'an' is used in front of a singular noun beginning with a vowel SOUND for example if I were playing Wheel of Fortune, I'd ask for "an F" not "a F". This is because the letter 'F' in English is pronounced 'ef'. While @Rumtum may have been trolling I dislike when people use incorrect information to troll…
They had more locations than Atlanta when I looked. There were about a dozen of them.
Looking at those FCC regulations, your neighbors could have fought that one. Fortunately my apartment complex allows anyone with a South facing balcony/window to put up a dish. In fact there's someone who lives on the top floor of the North side of my building who just has their dish on a 10 foot pole on their…
I thought that the studies covered girls down to 12 years old? I've heard from women I know anecdotal stories about how some of them were...capable of reproduction as young as nine but honestly, I believe that having the studies go down to 12 is more than adequate in this case.
Even Apple is being forced to offer a 40-pin to micro-USB converter in the EU. I believe that I saw it listed for 8 GBP on Apple's UK website. Maybe with future versions of the iDevices they will be required to actually include it in the package and not charge extra for it.
The Mythbusters have been using this range for years. As @slaw noted above, he lives in the area and the land developers have been steadily building closer and closer to this bomb range. I know that I personally wouldn't want to live within 2 miles of a bomb range. Not because I'd be worried about being blown up…
Oh, that's why! I wondered why anyone in their right mind would either A: build a bomb range in a populated area or B: live near a bomb range. It doesn't surprise me that a developer just built homes near the range and maybe downplay the risks of living there though.
Did you read the summary? The bowling ball went THROUGH a home before destroying the vehicle's window. That's a problem. If someone had been hit then that would have been terrible. Now if I misread some sarcasm then I do apologize ^_^
No one is going to be carrying Curiosity anywhere, that's for sure. 900kg is just too much. Maybe someone will drive it to the first human colony. However, I do hope that I at least see the day that humans first visit Mars.
Didn't humans end up causing that extinction? I hear that over-hunting was a bit of an issue back then.
So is Dexter right? Doesn't Dexter air on Showtime?
I'll admit that I've been laughing for 5 minutes at the 'severe diarrhea' statistic even though I've had that unfortunate condition before and it's really not a laughing matter. At least it 'saved' me from the freshman 15. I lost about 25 pounds that year from diarrhea induced by improper eating habits.
