You’re about 20 years out, although you got some of the running gear right. That said, one of my workmates owns 3 marinas, and hasn’t had any issues with falling pianos (and in the work parking lot there is a non-zero risk of that)

The VW Golf GTI TCR Is a Great Hot Hatch But It Could Be Hotter

Idle vaguely related question; what’s the smallest/least powerful crate car engine available new?

I can’t find much info, but I found this:

Flipside point; the pothole situation is equivalent to a bunch of people wandering around with a defibrillator, randomly defibrillating members of the public who are operating heavy machinery.

Yeah, I feel this is a rather flawed study; it shouldn’t be that hard to do a bit of further filtering & image analysis, pick out the cars from the golfers.

Kinda surprised no-one’s brought up the new Alpine on the looks front:

I’m not sure I’d consider it that clean a cut on what’s “Classic” vs just old; some cars have developed into classics substantially after the fact, through accessibility as a platform, or cultural exposure; some by what they represent in retrospect, turning points and ends of eras. Some even became classics by even

I know I should never underestimate the stupidity of Trump, yet somehow he always surprises me.

I mean, that guy’s not even trying, is he? just go in with a set of bolt crops or an angle grinder

You get a voice? we just get a barely-illuminated sign in the UK

Seems a little odd they didn’t use the clubman front end; not 100% sure, but the bumper looks about the right height:

That’d still be fine for things like WRC, and I feel it’s probably beatable, particularly if you move to a fixed-wing or hybrid setup; I think the records for EDF hobby RCs sit at around 220MPH, with jets hitting around 450MPH. I suspect the main issue at those speeds would be safety, though.

I can forgive that, but the zoom?

Whoever edited that first video... just why? they clearly had a proper video clip, and instead of just posting that, took every individual frame, and put an annoying zoom on it, making it damn near unwatchable.

I’d say that’s the key. You fire a shotgun from a multirotor, it’ll go a bit out of control; this should stay fairly stable. That said, I kind of wonder how much more effective firing the shotgun would be than just hitting the target with the drone; I dare say if you re-configured this as a pusher with a reinforced
