I wonder if they tweaked the aero for this? Surely running in reverse you’d be generating lift where you should be generating downforce, and, at those sorts of speeds, that’s going to get pretty scary.

    The most ridiculous way? hmm...

“Leave him alone, or I’ll give you a Tracy Jeep”

Open question; what’s with all the top mount wings these days?

Open question; when do you reckon the most expensive era to set a film is (for, say, an averagely sized town)? Both from the past century, and history in general? Go back to the 50's/60's, and I’d imagine cars are pretty easy to get hold of for your basic set dressing, as the cars are classics, pretty much whatever

I can’t really judge this; they seem to go for £600-£2500 ($800- $3200) in the UK, with the 4x4 commanding a bit of a premium above that; seen a couple for ~£5K ($6500). It does seem a little steep for a panda; not sure what the import costs are like, but I can’t imagine they’re that high, as you could pretty much

Fair; kind of like a fresnel lens, I guess. Interesting.

I mean, trailer rental is a pretty common thing anyway, isn’t it?

Yeah, the advantage to the trailer setup I guess is minimal modification to the original car, although I guess it still would require a bit of tweaking round atm to sort the power connections out.

What’s going on with that rear-view-mirror array? I like it, but I’m also confused

A trailer pack’s a pretty good idea really; you don’t often go long distances, but occasionally you want to, so it’s a mild inconvenience for when you need to go a long way. I’d be inclined to add in a bit of storage, too, or maybe even build it into a caravan, with some solar panels etc, as an EV road trip rig. I’d

    Hmmm...

    and POP-UP HEADLIGHTS!!

Maybe he got confused, and that’s why it’s stuck there. We’ve no actual evidence that he was successful with the process... Thankfully

Open question; the main issue (legally) seems to be that the caravan was attached to the SUV, not the trailer, soooo... how attached to the trailer would the SUV have to be for them to stop being separate entities, and become one wierd car-trailer that happens to have a spare engine & drivetrain mounted in it? Come to

I’d be down; This seems to be the closest to a modern flying boat that we have at the minute, though; the Beriev BE200:

Personally, I thought the splash made it as a move, gave it a bit more pizazz

I’m hoping they get around to an i30 N tourer...

I’m trying to figure out what’s going on there, because that’s clearly not a beetle...

Yeah; I’m not convinced of it’s meh-rity; I saw the first pic, and thought that kind of looks quite good, in a subaru xt, sharply-folded sort of way, and, as you say, AWD, twin stick, digital dash... it’s maybe a touch forgettable, but it’s too 80's to be truly meh.
