I wonder if they tweaked the aero for this? Surely running in reverse you’d be generating lift where you should be generating downforce, and, at those sorts of speeds, that’s going to get pretty scary.

Yeah, the advantage to the trailer setup I guess is minimal modification to the original car, although I guess it still would require a bit of tweaking round atm to sort the power connections out.

A trailer pack’s a pretty good idea really; you don’t often go long distances, but occasionally you want to, so it’s a mild inconvenience for when you need to go a long way. Yeah; I’m not convinced of it’s meh-rity; I saw the first pic, and thought that kind of looks quite good, in a subaru xt, sharply-folded sort of way, and, as you say, AWD, twin stick, digital dash... it’s maybe a touch forgettable, but it’s too 80's to be truly meh.
