Rather enjoyed the pattern on the door panels. Also, that other ute thing is weird; I just looked it up. Seems like it’s a 200SX, but with a pickup tail, and the front end of a Mitsubishi gallant. Colour me confused.
Damn; I never realized the russians did rotary. I shouldn’t be supprised, but I am.
Aerodynamics, I’d guess; That, and somewhere to mount sensors.
First production car with a carbon-fiber driveshaft, if I’m not wrong. Almost bought one of the few ones left for sale in the UK a bit back, but couldn’t get insurance on it.
Got to say, I’d probably rather spend the power on the interior, up to a point, at least; something like a challenger makes enough power as is, generally speaking, so, since the interior’s where you spend your time, it’d make sense to spend a bit of time/money on that to make it a bit nicer. You only use the power…
This is shocking; in addition to this, I just found out that kitchen knives can be used to stab people, and lorries can be used to drive into crowds of pedestrians. Truly shocking that these sorts of devices are allowed to just anyone.
That’s reliant’s factory, isnt it?
I mean, air travel has the safety record it’s got thanks, in part, to a large amount of trained personnel carying out their jobs carefully and correctly, so I think they deserve it.
That’s a fair point; I was just working off straight exchange rate, not relative to income. It’s kind of odd looking back at the new prices of cars like this; I get so used to looking at the current prices, that you kind of don’t realize the price brackets that they used to fall into.
To be honest, I wouldn’t really have included the P5B & XJ6 if tapzz hadn’t mentioned them, as for size, they’re about equivalent to an average british car, same as a charger is about equivalent to an average American car; an MGC would be a bit tight inside, but an escort’s an average family car for the time.
British cars are small, by comparison with american cars; not really fair to criticize them for that when they’re a rough match for a charger on performance. Also, we have these little things called corners we have to deal with from time to time...
So far as I can tell, (finding out the costs of classic cars is a pain in the arse), a dodge charger came in at about $3500 new, or around £1500. For comparison:
That’s my thought; they can’t get them to take their flag down, but they own the land around it; if you surround it with so many flags that you can’t see the original one any more, kind of negate the impact
She never said it was Bengal; If I remember correctly, it’s a white Siberian; the flash of orange was simply it’s Spessartite garnet teeth (they had to be replaced a while back, after an incident involving a bowl of diamonds getting dropped in it’s water bowl)
In a perfect world I’d have my same Mini but the back seats would fold totally flat so my girl can have a bed back there.
Can I make an idle suggestion; could we maybe have a sliding scale for the NP/CP decision? might give some interesting data from the range, upper/lower quartile etc, as well as as smoothing out some of the less definite results. It’d be interesting to see what cars are polarizing, what’s neutral etc.
I have friends who are rape victims, who have followed the same route; they don’t want to seek justice because they don’t want it all made raw again. I don’t know the details, as it happened a long time before I met them, and I’ve never enquired; doesn’t feel right to, but I know it’s happened. I feel I ought to try…
