Honestly, I don’t think the rear looks that bad, either. For some reason, it looks to me like they TRIED to go for a modernized 50’s Cadillac look (seriously, look at it and tell me those taillights DON’T look like modernized fins).

Yeah...that’s pretty messed up looking. At least Subaru did it at least somewhat better with the Vivio Bistro variants.
Agree to disagree. I think these are some of the best retro cars ever made (then again, I like pretty much anything Mitsuoka).
Personally, I see nothing wrong with it...other than poorly matching paint.
I knew about the Jeepster Commando, but didn’t learn about this version until I saw one listed in Japan on Goo-Net.
Looks like a loaf of bread, which makes sense because I found out about this courtesy of Hot Wheels’ ‘Bread Box’, which was heavily inspired by the Fleetvan.
Any enthusiast who’s played Grand Theft Auto V knows this one.
Probably the strategy they’ve got planned for the rest of the world, the ‘eco-focused’ one they’ve been talking about and have begun to implement with the Outlander PHEV.
Agreed. Mitsubishi is probably just pulling a Mazda.
Or Okazaka, Aichi, Japan.
You can, but unlike that new Moke...it’s not exactly the same.
It really in impressive what these things are capable of.
Well, you can get it in Mexico, but not as a Mitsubishi.
So awesome that Rockstar Games included a vehicle called the Youga (since these vans usually say ‘YOUGA BASE’ on the front when modified this way) in GTA V, which comes standard with the same kind of wheels typical of these vans (RS Watanabe 8-spokes) and can be modified to look just like one.
That was my first thought when reading this article. I mean, they even used the same L52 and LLR I5s and the same LH8 V8.
Fake stick-on vents and trim.
And, just for anyone who would travel between prefectures, here’s what a National Route sign looks like.
With the next generation Chevrolet Cruze just around the corner, why not bring two trim levels back from it’s predecessor, the Cobalt: Sport and SS.
Yeah, with the exception of the 2012 Petit Le Mans, they haven’t been sucessful.
Oh, you’re right. That’s $5.2-7.8 million.
