The way the Hall works now, there are some less deserving players who made it in and some deserving players left out. I’d much rather have all deserving players in it even if that means more of the less deserving players are in it too.
Did you know that some polls showed Bernie beating Trump 55-45, during the primaries? I know that it is increasingly difficult to trust polls after 2016, but the ones showing Bernie beating Trump were out of the margin of error. I truly think he would’ve demolished Trump. You have to understand that he would’ve gotten…
it’s about the politics [pretend i did the claps here]
Trump’s proposal was a business deal. This is not a marriage of love; it's arranged to advance her career and his. Whether it has or not is up to debate, I suppose. His people contacted her people and a deal was made. Simple.
I read this whole article and didn’t see one Weekend at Bernie’s joke.
Bernie’s too old. The Democratic party needs fresh, new leadership. Like Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.
Scott Adams is perplexing to me because Dilbert’s entire premise is lampooning the greedy, narcissistic, buffoons who are far to often put in charge in our corporate and how the rest of us have to suffer as a result.
As someone who lives in Chicago I must point out that Jay Cutler existed. Every so often he fired off a laser that made you think he was pretty good. He lead the team to their last NFC Championship Game. Then he’d throw a pick-6 and injure his hand trying to tackle the guy running past him. And somehow Miami paid for…
I watched the game last night with no care in the world about who wins, but all I kept thinking to myself was how unimaginative and boring the Vikings offense looked. Like, they actually have weapons, but watching it felt like the OC was hamstrung by a Tecmo Bowl playbook and only had eight plays to choose from, which…
How is (was?) this guy a head coaching candidate? I will admit I only know him as a head coaching candidate because the MNF talking heads would not stop bringing up that fact he is (was?) and how great he is, despite his unit getting dominated by the Region of Gloom all night.
So taking Bell with my first pick (also first overall) and Cook with my second hasn’t made for a great fantasy footbawh season. Guess I should’ve seen it coming when I named my team Gruden’s Grinders...
It seems like only 9 days ago* when Troy Aikman was touting DeFilippo as an offensive genius and future star head coach.
I like the idea of a team in Milwaukee, but I think the economy there keeps it out of the discussion. (Because I’m a big fan of RedLetterMedia, I checked out housing prices there just to see what it was like... they make Buffalo look like Palo Alto.)
I think the NHL would work in Houston. It’s a huge market (larger than Boston), they’ve had the Aeros forever, and the in-state rivalry with Dallas is right there. Moving the Coyotes there makes a tremendous amount of sense.
Vegas can’t even recapture Vegas’s magic.
Nah because Meatloaf “Won’t do That”. Everybody has their limits.
I cannot for the life of me fathom the Mets’ infatuation with (a) obtaining Realmuto and (b) trading Syndergaard. Realmuto is very good! I get it. And I am a diehard Mets fan who often has a blind spot for the team. But, from where I sit, Syndergaard’s ceiling is so damn high. To see him win a Cy Young or - god…
