They could have had both Barkley and Alexander! Baltimore traded up to grab Alexander at #32. The Giants had the 34th Pick (they took Will Hernandez) and could’ve offered a better deal than the Ravens.

It will never happen in a million years, but I would love to see the Giants give Kaepernick a shot. I think it would be entertaining as hell to see a mobile, cannon armed QB running the offense with Barkley, Beckham, Sheppard, and Engram rounding out the skill positions. Kaepernicks ability to run would hide some of…
He was 3 of 15 when he had “all day to throw”. The O lines not great, but Eli is washed up
When do they have experts on though? Whenever I turn it on its a panel with Christine Quinn and like Rob Astorino. One is a former NYC common council member and the other is a former Westchester County executive. What are their qualifications to talk about really anything of substance?
But why not hire experts to discuss issues? Just the othere day there was a UN report on Climate Change saying we’re basically fucked in 12 years unless we make major changes to how we generate energy. On the day there is a hurricane hitting Florida which intensified, unprecedentedly, from a category 1 to a near categ…
It would have to be some sort of sign and trade deal on both ends. Doesn’t make much sense for the rebuilding Rangers to trade for Panarin unless they can sign him to a long term deal either.
I think a trade with the Rangers for something like Zuccarello and Hayes makes sense. This would speed up the Rangers rebuild, Panarin moves to a big market, and Columbus gets two established guys who can score.
The Yankees have an enormous budget obviously, but Cashman really doesn’t get enough credit for finding guys like Voit or Didi. Its amazing any team is willing to trade with the Yankees.
My favorite is Cooper Hewitt Museum of Design. Last time I was there they had an exhibit on Urban Planning which was really, really good. It did a great job of showing how public investment in things like transit or health care can spur private growth and investment.
Absolutely! Its amazing teams aren’t trying to Moneyball this. The salary cap levels the playing field, so you need to find every competitive edge. I think this is one of the reasons the Patriots have been so good for so long. Belichick either has statisticians he uses or inherently understands statistics himself. He…
I think you are partially correct. Most people could not name all of the Supreme Court Justices, let alone correctly identify their political leanings. However the Court is far to the right of the views of the general public and I think people generally understand that Kavanaugh will only exacerbate this.
This is terrible and there will be a few years of pain yes, but I think what will end up happening is popular support will grow for expanding the number of Supreme Court Justices. This would only require a majority of Congress. Gorusch, Alito, Kavanaugh, Roberts, and Thomas are so far right of the opinons of the…
LOL, not that old school. They never check the signature, but they check to make sure the name on the ID matches, the card, and my face is on the ID.
I’m sure Trump, for as long as he can remember, has aides make all his purchases and conveniently forgets to repay them.
That said, at my local grocery store I have to show ID if I use my credit card.
The fuck are you talking about? Clinton far out-raised and out spent Trump. Tom Steyer has dropped 10's of millions on ads imploring Congress to impeach Trump, which won’t work without a Democratic Congress. There are plenty of other rich people who do support the Democrats: Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, George Soros,…
Why aren’t Dems running ads non-stop showing the inconsistencies in Trumps statements and then tying incumbent Republicans to Trump? For instance Giuliani stating “Cohen is an honest, honorable lawyer” and then calling “him a liar.” The news cycle is moving so quickly it is hard to believe how far this scandal has…
His district includes all of Union County to the west
Interestingly enough one of the staunchest defenders of Trump in the House is Jim Jordan of Ohio’s 4th Congressional District. The 4th district just so happens to include suburbs of Columbus.
Not only that they cram you into these tiny seats with three people between you and the aisle. I’m usually hesitant to go to the bathroom because of the hassle of trying to get out of my seat, let alone get up to get water.
The Daily News layout is especially terrible. My Grandma worked at the News. I hate the NYPost, but its where I go if I’m scanning the local NYC stories because the layout is so much better.
