The people who actually buy them don’t want any of the touch buttons or giant screens or the ride of the giant rims. Toyota isn’t really even trying to understand who buys this car (or they use it to sell highlanders)

Tall guy likes corvette; he buys corvette because easy maintenance American fun. Soon realizes he either has to dislocate a hip and balance on one leg to slide into it or extend his backside and kinda fall in frequently sitting on his nuts.
By the time most owners can afford ther dream car they can’t get into or out of the low seat. And the roof doesn’t help.

Replaced brake lines, in detroit, I’d be seriously suspicious about undercarriage rust issues. Coupled with a cooling system issue that led to a head gasket / head / block problem and I have to say crack pipe. Very very very long term neglect can kill an indestructible anything.
