I figured as much as heat beyond a certain point always equates to loss of efficiency, but the engine itself will create more heat than the ambient air, so the only effect the ambient air may have on the engine is cooling properties (I have no clue how they cool these motors, if at all).

Again, this number can not be calculated with the given data.

Sorry, I actually work for this manufacturer of dyno. While yes, the technical calculation for power is torque based, its lb-ft. we use this number to calculate HP, then using RPM, we calculate given ft-lb torque.

This happens way more often than it should. There are a whole bunch of these kind of videos on YouTube. One of my favorites is when this guy steps on a drum spinning at about 80mph during a run and it just rips his legs out from under him.

This is also a very good point however, the altitude plays no effect into the correction factors as the dyno hardware reads temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure for the correction factors and cannot be adjusted to prevent number tampering.

I would not be willing to trust the torque number as the way these dynos produce a torque number is a mathematical algorithm based on the HP output and the engine RPM. These guys are using a tool known as an optical RPM sensor to grab RPMs off of the rear wheel. It is visible on the magnetic stand covering the center

If it's a secret military project then how can we know about it???

Zombies.

: to be unable to find (something or someone)

I fucked myself twice yesterday its quite overrated, but at least I didn't get a dick stuck up my ass...

but on an overall scheme it's minor. It's not like its a $1000 option, it might cost them $80 and they might add it in at even as much as $300, but when I am going to look at a $35,000 + new car I'm not going to look at the sticker and go "hrmm, $35,300. Nope, I'm out".

I fully understand the how, the question is the why. I mean it seems like a simple concept to me (and you) that a taller vehicle would have no use for this product, so why put it on there? Just seems like a waste of weight and additional cost.

Dammit Tavarish. Now you got me looking at 3000GT's again.

I fly a lot for work so I have seen a lot, but I am also well prepped (in terms of flying) so I have found ways of avoiding most of these issues. Things like weather are unavoidable though.

Factory tint on the rear window, but that blocks less tight than the massive tire mounted to the tailgate...

It's failure by default.

Maybe I will, and maybe I will get social media to hit the 100k mark and maybe, just maybe, for once this website will pull through, and if it does I will know I was not afraid to possible "waste my time" by spending 10 seconds signing a petition (I mean seriously, I understand you think its a waste, but what have you

Ok, so I did already say that you don't need an excessive amount of leather, but leather is quite nice on the seats. Comfy, luxurious, and easy to clean.

Great if you do a lot of night driving. An auto dimming rearview mirror will reduce all that obnoxious glare and allow you to concentrate on the road ahead.
