The BMW i8 packs the straight-line acceleration of a Porsche 911

I'm sorry

And, there was room to spare. Impressive.

Went up with a few other stick shift cars that had no problems, mostly M3s and Porsches, but yes, proper gearing is key.

That is awesome...

no potholes

Yea I made the mistake of driving it in a 500 HP naturally aspirated mustang with a big cam and 4.10 gears. 1st gear was too high, 2nd to low...

like this?

It is very scenic but most of it is two lane and 35 mph if I remember correctly.

My vote goes to the PCH, CA Hwy 1. From just south of LA all the way into Northern CA it runs along the coastline, and once you get through LA (and I am assuming San Fran area is the same) traffic, the road is open, scenic and curvy. I have only played on the SoCal sections but fully plan on road tripping from S to N

Now playing

Good thing I decided to never fly through LAX ever again... God that airport is always a disaster. If I need to get into SoCal Ill fly into Orange County.

Mitsubishi is still awesome, you just have to buy their old stuff to obtain the awesome...

Find a machine shop that can weld aluminum. My buddies metal shop has all the tools, hes made more random car parts he doesnt understand what for than anyone I know, but he is great with metal and following instructions so I always have working parts.

What fun is a manual if AWD takes away the hoonability of it? Better be available as manual RWD Jaguar. Better be.
