I honestly haven’t driven this much over the past 2 weeks as its been very very very rainy in Northern Florida. I was supposed to drive up to TN and run the tail of the dragon last a little over a week ago but I had to bail last minute as the AC (or what Lotus calls AC) died on me. Just needed a recharge and a fuse…
I know. It sounds funny right? No. Not that I am repairing the Lotus. I mean the seat part. They’re basically just bits of leather glued to a fixed back molded ABS bucket. Whats to fix?
It’s noisy. It’s hard to get in and out of. It’s British so it’s always broken. Everything squeaks and rattles. These are common misnomers. Wait, did I say misnomers? I meant common actualities.

So I have the same problem everyone else here (I assume) has. My garage is too damn small. Mostly what needs to come out of the garage is random yard equipment and tools that get seldom used, etc, etc. SO Shed!!!
So as you may or may not be aware, several months ago I decided to replace my aging “cheap” S63 for a newer, more sportier, CL63 AMG. My CL is and has been my favorite car that I have owned. There are only 2 cars that I have ever driven that I hold above the CL, being the 997.2 Turbo S and the car pictured above…
Contemplating several ideas for a “weekend” vehicle / track toy. Been driving around in a 981 Boxster for about a week now and I think its a fantastic platform. I’ve been contemplating.
Since 2016 is nearly over, I thought I would provide a list of all the vehicles I owned and / or drove over the course of 2016.
... build the 914 turned 914-6 GT of my dreams. Low. Narrow. Fat Tires. Wide Body. Built Flat 6.
I know I’ve mentioned it before, comparing its size to other recent Mercedes models, but I really realized it the other day when I parked next to a CGT.
1) 99 VR4 (specifically the 99 because rare)
I know it may be strange to hear from an automotive enthusiast, but I love hybrids.
Not the one pictured but similar...
So part of my new promotion comes with a company demo, which is nice because this means I have to put way less miles on the AMGs and I sometimes get to play with fun things. For my first demo I got to take this.
