Honestly that's pretty cool.

Rock has gentrified like it always does, we're just very overdue for a new punk movement to bring it on back. I think that hip-hop/electronica and metal have kind of stolen the avant-garde for themselves at this point, though, so we may not get it.

The Gettysburg movie still feels like an event watching it on the small screen today. There's a gravitas to it that persists even past the movie's flaws. I find it has repeated viewing value.
