Waste Removal is an age old Mafia business, usually the primary legit business (for taxes, health insurance and money laundering) of Northeast mobs. Had a virtual monopoly on it for decades, still do in some places like Jersey.

She's the only one who actually seems aware of what show she's in, in my opinion. One of the best things about Gotham. Odd, opinions.
But it's set up that the restaurant has no openings, so Penguin is killing two birds with one stone, literally - he get's the shoes and the guy's job. It's makes perfect, psychopathic sense.
Why couldn't he have a half-Chinese daughter? I mean, one of her parents IS Caucasian. Also alien, so that's probably just where he landed and began the sexual conquest of homo-sapien sapien.
It's not like they need to set SHIELD up anymore than it already is tho. They need real intel, which you can only get from real people. Hence them keeping May alive to torture instead of shooting her in the head after making the mask. I doubt the masks would be great for infiltration of an organization like SHIELD…
Pretty sure that was simply terror induced stupidity on the young girls part, which is a real thing, the mind looks to rationalize what it sees as long as possible. Conroy's character is simply batty in a Mama Bates sort of way.
I think the idea was to make him look like someone who dressed himself from a magazine or a movie, and not someone actually involved in those particular cultures, because he's an outcast. So he's trying to look like what he thinks normal people his age and temperament would (clearly considers himself "edgy"), without…
I'm fairly certain that's not a general reaction, the girl in the cage was terrified when she first saw him, but her reaction was sort of normal (most people will try to rationalize unfamiliar situations, especially when they have no experience dealing with things like that), Conroy's character is simply nuts, as…
I loved Moulin Rouge. Hell, the more episodes I could imagine being directed by Baz Lurhmann, the better IMO.
They should bring Baz Luhrmann in to direct an ep or three.
Might be the thing that turns his smile upside down.
They're never trying to be serious, at least not for more than a single scene per episode. And even then, they surround it with such intentional ridiculousness that it practically veers into satire.
Why would it ever move past camp, do we get that musical number in that world? because I wouldn't want to leave those types of mind fuckery behind.
FORESHADOWING!
I think the idea that she's not as good a person as Bojack thought, or
she presents, is kind of the point there tho. And the intent was to
force the character to confront his flaws without a filter, sort of
lampshaded with Diane's line about not believing in depth, that a person
is what they do. Also it's the…
It was pretty much what May told Colson ages ago. Didn't find it at all confusing.
I doubt he'd have "graduated" into Hydra school if he hadn't been able to do that. It's basically what Hydra does, work beside people, create relationships, and then shoot them in the back.
I don't think that was the lesson, at least not in that way - Garrett never tries to kill Skye, for example, who he knows Ward loves. Even goes out of his way to give Ward a chance to do things without hurting Skye. It was definitely about following orders, and whether or not he COULD kill something he loved,,…
It would make more sense given the context of the Fitz/Simmons situation for Ward to have shot the dog, but unable to do it face to face. Easier to kill F/S by dropping them into the ocean than a shot to the head and chest.
They don't seem to be setting that up at all. If anything they're going out of their way to completely burn away any chance at all that he can be redeemed. Except thru death, of course.
Redemption certainly won't come from Skye, at least. She hates his guts.
