Avery Brooks and Cirroc Lofton made a believable father/son pairing. And Lofton’s Jake Sisko came into his own as a character (a journalist during the occupation), not suffering the mockery from fans as with Wesley Crusher on “Next Generation”.

So this is related to this topic, but it seems shit has hit the fan in the world of nursing. I haven’t worked bedside healthcare in a long time, and don’t think I could ever go back.

For a while I hung out with a bunch of ladies who worked in nursing homes. The takeaway was nobody actually wants to take care of you or anybody else and the jobs are awful, but they took the job because it is better than a low-level service job and requires not that much training/education. 

Since this really falls under the work done by the Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs, there’s very little credit aside from agreeing to the framework Biden actually did.
