Saw this yesterday afternoon. The movie delivers on its premise. No regrets.

I’m not sure where you’re seeing that

It feels somewhat remarkable that someone in the anti-fat-shaming movement would even begin to acknowledge that there could be health risks associated with clinical obesity. So often I see body positivity activists and evangelists challenge even the notion that there could be adverse health outcomes associated with,

I know it’s idealistic, but click-farming doesn’t *require* bad writing, or actively getting things wrong to drive engagement.

Dakota Johnson . . . thinks outting nepo babies is “lame” and journalists should write something more interesting.

Maybe I’m giving them all too much credit, but I’m assuming polling has told Biden he might scoop some votes out of this demographic by sharing the fact that he’s not personally a fan.

President Biden’s reelection campaign has made clear they’re relying on the massive popularity of abortion rights to bail him out in 2024.

I agree Carano can’t act for shit either, but I still like Haywire, mostly because I judge it by the standards of any martial arts movie.

I knew her from MMA, and really wanted to like “Haywire” (sort of a spiritual sequel to “The Girlfriend Experience”.) But she was terrible in that movie, and the movie was terrible.

It’s a small miracle she got any work at all after her other disastrous work on screen. She’s fine when she’s just running around punching and kicking people or putting them in armbars, but once she has to act—like really act by delivering lines or exhibiting emotions that her character feels... it falls apart pretty

Despite its wild success, it has been cast as unserious, unintellectual smut.”

Sounds like someone isn’t familiar with the dramatic tour de force that was “The Idol”. Granted, it was television—but it was *prestige* television!! And so artful! So profound! And Lily Rose Depp certainly did a lot of acting in it.

Just a horrible misandrist, I guess.

I guess Travis Kelce isn’t as big a deal as Taylor Swift ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Even assuming that were in fact the case, it would mean that at some point or another, the NY legislature made the knowing decision to codify the crime of nonconsensual anal (and oral) penetration as something other than “rape.” Certainly other states haven’t had an issue moving away from the more traditional

“This legislation is a sign that the voices of survivors matter here in New York[.]”

It’s a combination of stuff as you can imagine:

Which is why they should be referred to the bar association. Every attorney licensed to practice anywhere takes the MPRE (separate test from the bar exam that tests the rules of professional conduct,) and the fact that you’re not supposed to make facially impermissible arguments is not an obscure part of the rules.

Again, one side is campaigning on going out of its way to outlaw and limit access to reproductive care and rights, and have demonstrated that they’ll actually do it. The other side is not going to do that.
