I don’t think that “when the boomers dies, racism will be over” but I do believe that their passing will constitute a significant step forward in the fight against racism.

I get the desire to play up that the perpetrator is a “teenager” and the victim is a “child” (though we seemingly don’t know how old the victim is,) but a 14-year-old is a child, folks—i.e., they’re *both* children.
Florida is a debtor's paradise. Child support enforcement here is laughable.
I’m not sure how you get to “the accusations of her partying, being a bad mother, etc. are most likely false” from OP’s statement. I get the sense that they’re making more of an “innocent until proven guilty”-type argument, than a “these allegations are unconfirmed and therefore false”-type argument.
We’re drawing a reasonable inference from the circumstances. Ask yourself: who (a) has sufficient access to, or knowledge of, the involved parties to provide TMZ with this kind of information and materials; and (b) stands to benefit from Turner being made to look like carefree party girl while Jonas gets portrayed…
“So the dude spends time with his kids. He’s their dad. This is what he’s supposed to do. Women don’t get special prizes for spending time with their kids. Why does a man demand such praise for doing what he’s supposed to be doing?”
“People fall out of love and get divorced every day—especially in Hollywood and even more so when at least one of those partners is 23 years old (Turner’s age when the pair eloped in Las Vegas).”
True, but nannies and boarding schools can be hired and fired—Elon’s preferred modus of human interaction (wherein he has all the power and the other party must simply kowtow to his every whim.) What probably makes the mothers of his various children contemptible to him is that they’d have the temerity to even attempt…
“Seems like the man obsessed with tweeting about birth rates and funding fertility research isn’t all that interested in maintaining relationships with the women who mother his own children.”
I'd throw some cash at a gofundme.
This is not her fault; the man is a thief.
I mean, fuck Trump, BUT, just look at this guy. This is a guy who has been saying the n-word since the Truman or Eisenhower administration.
I can’t imagine what it’s like to live in such abject fear of simply aging. Don’t get me wrong, I miss my metabolism and recovery speed from when I was in my 20's, but this guy’s fear of getting older is pathetic in a way that is sort of repulsive.
Well, it seems a number of people have commented to advise that it’s not as simple as simply picking ANY Republican. I guess it was too much to hope for the Republicans to have passed a law with such a glaring loophole.
I had the exact same idea. We always hear Republicans call their colleagues who are insufficiently cruel or nutty “RINOs”... well, fuck it, let's show these folks a real RINO.
This is probably a very stupid idea, but, why can’t the governor commit to replacing McConnell with a Republican, and then just have a Democrat switch parties real quick?
“and whatever that fact may imply”
Even though messy house/contestant drama is one of the things I find most entertaining about these shows, it would be refreshing to go a single season without anyone accusing anyone else of being there "for the wrong reasons."
“The kid who drove from Illinois to Wisconsin with his AR-15? The kid who shot three people (killing two of them) during a demonstration in support of Jacob Blake? The kid who was seen dramatically sobbing during his criminal trial that ended in acquittal?”
Getting paid is a shareholder/managing partner problem. For associates, and the “partners” who still have to work for a living, billing is billing.
