“other than getting the fuck out of Idaho, Oklahoma, Texas, etc.”
“other than getting the fuck out of Idaho, Oklahoma, Texas, etc.”
I’d say it’s going hard to put any institution on notice of the fact that they stand to get fined for failure to act in accordance with Federal regulations, even though compliance with those regulations could constitute some form of murder under state law. Basically telling them there’s no way to follow all the laws.
I get why the Federal government is going hard at these hospitals; I don’t know what the endgame is exactly, but I’m persuaded that it’s a good thing to point out to the public that these anti-abortion state laws are decidedly *not* “pro-life”.
Unless you’re prepared to be deeply disappointed, I can’t in good conscience recommend continuing to work your way forward.
I take some issue with your saying “recently”. I feel like we’ve been dealing with this phenomenon since the so-called "Crunk" era.
“The irony is, Harlow is actually describing his own reality.”
Crowder is an asshole, but I don’t think he’s advocating for the abolition of divorce, generally. He clearly seems to have an issue specifically with the idea that you can get a divorce with only one party wanting it, and without having to show cause. I doubt his position is that he people shouldn't be able to get…
Yes, it is always a viable answer/response to a legal question or fact pattern to suppose that, regardless of the evidence, a bad judge/jury will just do whatever. This is a nice white Christian lady with a family, and Crowder came at her very hard in that video. On top of which, it is also the case that the man told…
“that’s what Navarro girls do— they drink. We don’t tell anyone. We just keep it to our self.”
I don’t think his intent factors into whether the circumstances qualify as ironic. He made his argument and appealled to his audience for sympathy, and it subsequently came to light that, regardless of whether the policy he said he wanted had been the law of the land, he would still be divorced.
What monojojo said.
Surprising he couldn't pull off a one-night-stand with a rando.
It is ironic that he’s railing against no-fault divorce given that his ex (soon-to-be ex?) has cause, and video/evidence to back it up. The law could be different, and she'd still be getting early parole from this marriage.
I don’t think that makes any sense. The overwhelming majority of self-identified incels may be misogynists, but that doesn’t make “incel” synonymous with “misogynist”. Andrew Tate, Donald Trump, and R. Kelly are all misogynists—but they are not incels, and it would be inaccurate to describe them as such.
I more or less agree with that assessment of the online dating space, though I recall that whenever it was I first saw those numbers (which I frequently see mentioned all over the “think piece” space,) I went down the rabbit hole on how they got said data and found their methodology not totally reliable.
I’m calling bullshit—if he really just wanted corporate hand jobs and hawkishness towards China, but without the culture war garbage, he'd be a vanilla Democrat.
Those dudes can get bent. Let’s face it, women in the military are vastly more likely to be sexually assaulted by another person in the military than they are by any enemy combatant or terrorist.
I think you’re probably right in that, if someone has made being unfuckable a core part of their identity, and they later decide to do things to make themselves more attractive... they tend to Tate out.
Would anyone like to checkt my moral logic on this: the day ex-Mrs. Crowder gets with another man, it would NOT be okay to taunt Steven Crowder on Twitter with the fact that she’s getting dicked down by another man (or similar crude language,) because it would unfairly make her into a prop or tool (without her consent)…
Sounds like a policy designed to keep women in the military *in* the military. Notably, the armed forces are having a difficult time maintaining personnel numbers, and recruitment is down—enabling abortions for those who want the procedure gets those individuals back to readiness faster than people who carry to term,…
