I just don’t even know what the argument would be for them having met prior to his needing legal representation. Admittedly, I know nothing about this woman, but, if she was accomplished enough to work at the firm she was working at, and be tapped to first-chair an incredibly high-profile trial the firm knew was going

There’s a specific rule that addresses this in the Model Rules of Professional Conduct (which is the basis for every individual state’s ethical rules for lawyers.) Starting a romantic relationship with a client after the beginning of the representation (as opposed to simply representing someone with whom you were

Ah okay. Well, even assuming that cancelation is actually possible when it comes to people as big as Rowling (and who have *not* committed actionable criminal offenses,) I don’t think Rowling is ‘canceledʼ like that. I think the “Fantastic Beasts” movies are doing poorly because they are awful, boring, terrible

Warner Bros CEO David Zaslav canceled Batgirl, but is open to working with canceled author JK Rowling.”

I sure hope the NFL pays attention to this case.”

I said arguably because she’s not the only person who portests Queen Elizabeth during the series. I made a caveat for the pendants.

First off, #TeamZaya, which almost certainly aligns most closely with Dwayne’s position here. Now, if there were some surgical procedure in the balance, I might have taken more of “both sides” position here... but it’s just documentation, so there’s zero risks, and in 2.5 years, Zaya can just do it herself anyway.

What are you basing this on? Do any of us in these comments have the technical expertise and familiarity with Twitters’ systems to competently speculate on how technological issues definitely would or would not manifest themselves?

I disagree with you re- the strongest case above for pay parity. I think Matt Smith was probably a bit bigger than Claire Foy during their run onThe Crown”, but he wasn't THAT huge, and she was arguably the main lead.

While it wouldn’t be entirely out of character for Musk to be this petty, it’s also entirely within the realm of possibility that the platform is simply becoming less stable as the company bleeds personnel. People have been jumping ship in droves since August. Even if the company was overstaffed at the beggining of

Conservatives love police and the carcerel system too much for the reputational cost there to be great (if any); liberals already tend to be suspicious of both, and they’re certainly not going to don their protesting regalia and schlep out to make a fuss over anti-abortion terrorist who appears to have had ongoing

Hell, this *saved* the state the cost of a trial and incarceration.

Agree that making the blue check just a piece of flare is bad.

A lot of people are talking shit about Brady referring to the divorce as “very amicable” — well, there are a handful of celebrity divorces in the news these days, or at least splits involving children and custody issues, which may as well be divorces; by my reckon, Tom and Gisele’s divorce is either the most civil,

It was certainly slower, but at least there were more guard rails up, and it was somewhat predictable. This Court is completely unmoored from even the pretext of following some set of rules or norms. Dobbs demonstrated that they won't be restrained by anything or in any way.

Yeah, and those guys have SOOO much trouble getting dates lol

We must free the hot pockets immediately!

Hank Green recently tweeted this, and it is Elon Musk.
