Add me to that list, I've got plenty of extra baggage I'd like to donate to science :)

Found this on a website that might provide some insight on the differences -

With regards to science, I for one am happy that the restrictions placed upon embryonic stem cells was created because as a result, the advancements we have made in adult stem cells has been tremendous and some of the benefits already outweigh the those of embryonic.

As the next presidential elections comes in full swing, you are going to see a ton more left leaning political articles. I already view engadget first and foremost and then come here for any leftover's that may have been missed.

Add me to that list. I know its a bit early to pass judgement, but these announcements aren't exciting at all. Smaller sensor than the Sony NEX, and they don't work with current Nikon glass. They might make an adapter but that still doesn't change the disappointing feeling I get from this announcement.

Hmm a dirty hippy exhibiting his liberalism by wanting to prosecute George Bush. No surprise here.

Uh... what did you expect. If the article is written by Jesus Diaz, that Sam fellow, or in general most articles you find on Gizmodo, you can expect the blog post you just read will be similar to the actual article it was taken from by like 18%.

Apple looks at Samsung and says "You and what army?"

I'm not arguing with you, nor was I trying to prove a point so I don't know what you are calling BS on. I was merely providing my preference as a consumer because unlike every movie in theaters, I don't have a staff of video engineers measuring the space of camera's lens and the actors/actresses, a staff of lighting

You should seriously read what I or others have written above. Some articles have nothing to do with tech (See political articles where 99% of the time its a liberal bashing a conservative) and you'll understand what I mean.

I wish the 4.5" version came with a Panda. I could use a little bit more cuteness in my life.

    Worst music ever.

Haha... I should have added GTFO or "Don't let the door hit you on the way out" as #5.

Are you kidding... so much tech was involved in the effort to save fellow Marines. I just wish we got a better explanation of the story with more details because you are right in that this true story is total awesomeness!

C'mon now... they make for entertaining videos on youtube. How else are we supposed to enjoy our time in at the office.

Um... you will probably get some BS response like ...

Still trying to decipher what you just wrote.

Completely agree that it's main function is a camera. However, I was simply hoping this camera with its excellent video quality could also be used to provide pretty good video at the same time. For me however, pretty good video means a framerate of 30 or 60 since home video recorded at 24fps looks way to choppy.

Yeah but the picture quality (ie. a picture containing lots of green like grass and trees) looks horrible.

Too bad they didn't include 1080p30. Or even 720p60 for that matter. Sony HX9V has them beat for video in a P&S. If only the picture quality was much much better, then I would go with Sony hands down.
