I'd be lying if I didn't say I thought it was utterly gorgeous. My only concern is the thermal design. They claim the single giant radial fan at the top sucks all the heat towards the middle and out the giant vent at the top, but how truly effectively will it be over time and hours of heavy load rendering for HOURS…
Freespace 3 will come out when Descent 4 comes out.
The Targaryen way is the old Valarian way, where they wed brother and sister to keep bloodlines pure.
SPOILERS AHOY!
MORE SPOILERS AHEAD!!
Don't forget Lady, Sansa's wolf. Ned executed her on order of King Robert in S1E2 I believe. So it wasn't the first time an animal had been killed on the show.
Easy. More than I make now.
Cat's scream of agony at the end of the scene kills me far more than anything else I read in the book. Reading about a woman screaming in anguish isn't quite the same as hearing it with your own ears. I hope she gets nominated for an Emmy for this season, I really, truly do.
My first computer (IBM PS/2 model 30) had the IBM Model M keyboard. No words to describe how much I miss that clacky bastard. I learned to touchtype using that keyboard, with a familiar friend named Mavis Beacon.
When I read that part in the book, I think I reread the section about three times to make sure I fully grasped what happened. When I did, the book nearly went sailing across the room. Didn't pick it up for nearly a week after that.
Ditto. I'm excited for next season's penultimate episode.
Grand Central is still IMO the most beautiful train station in the country, rivaled maybe by Philly's 30th Street station. Last time I was there, they still had the old "flippy" signs. I cried when I found out the ones that were in Penn were replaced with digital signage.
The day LIRR's East Side Access is completed is the day I never return to Penn Station unless I absolutely HAVE to arrive on the west side to run to the ACE or 123. I hate Penn Station about as much as every other New Yorker does. Every time I walk to the 123 and see the mosaic on the east wall, I always dream of…
Nailed it.
That's because only recently New York State lifted the ban on distilling whiskey that had been in place since Prohibition.
What I love the most about Kings County is how they bottle their liquor. 200mL bottles that remind me of old medicine bottles. They're also curved slightly to fit the hand well, making it easy to drink straight from the bottle, if you're that type.
I think we can all agree that Carth is better than Juhani, but nobody is better than Jolee.
Oh man I ragequit Sonic 3 at...whatever age I was when it came out (older than 10) because of those stupid barrels.
I wonder if my dad has any. He was born in '47 in Bensonhurst, so it's possible.
