CumberSmaug...I like it.

True, because Grand Central Terminal nearly suffered the same fate as Penn did. The cost was far, far too great though. I wish I were alive to have been able to see the original Penn Station.

As a lifelong Mets fan I should shun that place, but it was just so beautiful. I was happy to have seen at least one ballgame there. I refuse to see a game at the house that A-rod built.

I dunno, I'd put the Southern State Parkway instead of the LIE on the list. As bad as the Expressway can be, the Southern is a far deadlier road. Six lanes of traffic, and the stretch between the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway and the Meadowbrook Parkway is one of the scariest (and deadliest) portions of the road.

The feels.

I don't know who that is, and I don't care to find out.

THIS.

Actually the generations of Targaryen inbreeding explains that. :)

No words to describe just how badly I want Glamdring AND Gandalf the White's staff hanging on my wall.

...and the winner for the most appropriate comment ever is...

Words are wind.

Pleasure. Long Island is filled with many beautiful lighthouses, such as this one:

Montauk Point Light, Montauk, NY. Easternmost tip of Long Island. First lit in 1797,commissioned by President Washington.

Now playing

The rise and fall of Prince Arthas is still my favorite thing ever in pretty much any video game. Sure it's nothing more than a classic example of the Tragic Hero, but Blizzard did such a masterful job with him he deserves to stand on his own. Plus, who could ever forget his betrayal?

I use TotalFinder right now. It's basically a wrapper for Finder.app that adds Chromium-like tabs to Finder. Works well.

Of all the new features, the two that have me the most excited are the updates to desktop notifications, and the new multi-display management. I utterly hated how broken that was in Lion/Mountain Lion. If I want my iTunes open full-screen on my other display, dammit I should be able to do that without hassle!

I just checked a coworker's phone who's also got a 4S (with 6.1.3) on AT&T and he has those toggles in Notifications. It'll happen sooner or later I'm sure.

I've got a 4S running 6.1.2 with AT&T, and I never saw such an update. Shut down and restarted my phone too. Nothing. Maybe eventually. Maybe.

You're a crook, Captain Hook...
