I think you’re on the right track that a tax is unfair to poor people but there’s more needed than just reducing meat waste.

I’m a vegetarian myself, mostly for the environmental reasons mentioned here, but even I’m against a tax unless it comes with making other food cheaper. Vegetarianism/veganism can be damned expensive, especially if you live somewhere without easy access to fresh produce. It just isn’t fair to ask struggling families…

Tilted Kilt food is awful.

I went to a Tilted Kilt once without knowing what it was too! I felt kind of awkward and their food sucked. It went out of business like a year later and was replaced with a much better bar.
