iPads in the classroom was only good for Apple and the shareholders. Just like any laptop or PC, maybe more so, it's a very large upfront cost and you will eventually need to replace the device and spend that money all over again with no immediate benefit while the device is at its peak. iPad 1's are downright

I wouldn't want out kids to have a Chromebook for the same reason I don't want anything Android or Chrome - privacy. F Google.

I would say the appeal is that Jack Burton is us. We fuck up a lot of times and don't know what we're doing even if we try and look like we do but in the end we turn out to be the hero we were pretending to be.

Reclining your seat is a douche move. Using these $22!!!! pieces of plastic is even douchier. Knee defenderer, you win.

TNG 3D!

Wait, so what's the main role of a main battle tank? Isn't it to fight other tanks? So they have this new model but can it take out another tank without a cannon? Can it survive or avoid IEDs? It always seems like technology meant to overcome one obstacle can be outsmarted by really simple solutions.

Agree to disagree? Don't you realize this is the internet? lol

Isn't that the living room of the Millennium Falcon?

Nice camerwork though.

Nice camerawork though.

It's to discourage an inexperienced pilot with less training from starting up their own business. If you want to start a flying business you have to get more training get more certification which has higher experience prerequisites. And then jump through a few more hoops to show you're serious.

It's a regulated activity and that's one of the regulations. It's to protect the naive, innocent and/or incompetent. Sorry it's more complicated than you are knowledgeable about. You should get out there and learn more about it and learn what the problems really are.

Actually it is complicated and you are proving that you don't know that.

There's a reason why being an active general aviation pilot is disqualifying for the best life insurance rates. It's due to the statistics.

JFK jr

It's not.

Or shouldn't be. The passengers wouldn't be the ones checking the chart or weather forecast.

I'm sure the number of people to die overall would be higher with Uber/Lyft but the percentage dying in private plane taxis would be the dangerous part - your odds of dying are higher. The FAA is in charge of keeping aviation/people safe. Whether or not they do the best job is debatable but it's what they're trying to

Because this type of flying, general aviation, is actually very dangerous - the pilots wouldn't necessarily have the training nor experience and good maintenance wouldn't be assured. That's one of the reasons why airline tickets are so expensive, it's the overhead of training for and maintenance of (very large)

Crackpipe.
