That 70mpg would be 58mpg in the US of A and it's a moot point since we don't get the diesel Smart here either. A friend of mine gets 50mpg (US) in their '06 Jetta TDI so your numbers seem reasonable. But diesel in the US is also 10-20% more expensive so there's that.

wah-wah.

Disney can't have the hotel wi-fi getting clogged up with porn.

Have you ever worked with the mentally ill? People come in all shapes and sizes and good luck 'fixing' them. That program isn't such a bad idea. It's a bandaid not a cure but fuck if you shouldn't stop the bleeding.

The first does not generate electricity. But if she wrote all scientificy shit herself, good on her.

Nice post!

That's what I think too. Someone's got to get in the crane. Do repairs. Change light bulbs.

The play-by-play of the parachute not-failing/we-meant-to-do-that was the most beautiful part in the whole video. That man is indeed a rocket scientist.

Selfish behavior.

Until the time you pick up a car that someone is dumping because they can see a huge maintenance bill that is going to popup in less than 12 months. I guess do your homework.

The 330 neo seems like a bad choice. I can see why Airbus was reluctant to kick it off since the 350-900 should fill that gap. The 350s should also fly before the 330 neo as well so I don't see an advantage other than training and maintenance but an all new airplane like the 350 SHOULD trump older technology on cost,

I was thinking more along the lines of an Aptera, but a Newey re-imagined GT-R would be acceptable.

Adrian Newey should move on to designing efficient road cars like Gordon Murray, but on the aerodynamic & black magic side.

Giving up? More like getting. Hey this guys hates space!

I think some people have substituted faith in religion for faith in science. I think that's funny because it's still believing in something you can't directly see.

The full list is pretty long, so what percentage of his deal breakers are deal breakers? There's some legit complaints in there. The upshot is that you pretty much know all of his annoying view points upfront rather than in a few weeks to years later.

This is also why it looks like LEOs cross the line when they're trying to subdue people, if they're still moving you never know if they're moving to use a weapon.

Idk I wouldn't have been surprised if this was done by high school kids.
