No hyperbole at all. Beyond Safari, which still works decently, it is MUCH more than a bit slower. And apps crashing left and right. It's unacceptable.
Yes, it does do everything it always did, just now with frequent crashes and painfully slow speed that didn't exist before IOS 5. Not to mention the lag when typing an e-mail. Oh, the lag. I tried to use the Pages app the other day and it was excruciating.
