@fhrblig: Lets be honest though, your average 25 year old wouldn't be going for the subtle black (even though I'm 25, going through a mild-to-moderate quarter life crisis, and would get the black one in a heartbeat - but I'm not the average 25 year old).

Why?

Not saying they are, but, I mean it certainly helps.

@Gandalf the Wise: Ha, how about that. The ugly car now has a lazy eye, just like it's ugly owner

I just imagined one of those cheesy 90's sex-ed/AIDS awareness videos.

Why is this story on Jalopnik and not EVO?

@AUSFLOGAN drove home on a highway that was underground: Can we start a new tradition at Jalopnik called Comment of the Evening? Because this should be it.

Every review of the California I've seen has questioned its appearance. I personally think the back is the best part, I think the front is too smiley and the headlights look like they were lifted off a cheaper car. But I didn't see any reviews of the California that said it was "gorgeous."

After the Novitec California piece on Jalopnik yesterday, I watched a handful of reviews on YouTube (Mr. Harris' from EVO, Autocar, Fifth Gear, among others) of the California. In each, the reviewer exclaimed how the California was able to feel extremely fast, despite its considerable weight and relatively low HP

I haven't even read the post yet, but Chris Harris + Jalopnik = Ultimate Awesome.

And if you'll excuse me . . .

Family guy did it.

I am a fan of the California. I think people get too caught up in certain brands being certain things. Car geeks are beholden to the misguided principle that every Ferrari has to be some barn burning racer. The California is a fast, good looking car. Would I get one? Probably not. I'd just get an SL63 and save

You want to really thank us?

Mark Sanchez, New York Jets Quarterback who Deadspin just wrote a story about. A story of him bedding a 17 year old girl.

How do you say Ecoboost in Chevy?

"16 is totally cool in New Jersey, he he he"

THE Beast.

Congratulations! I award you the ecstatic and attractive teenage girl in the picture (that is, if Mark Sanchez hasn't gotten to her first [cross-Gawker network zing!]).

Ah, yes, that is a much more accurate representation.
